I would like to pursue a career related to cybersecurity but I don't know exactly what university career should I follow, systems engineering? computer science?
What career did you study?

Cybersecurity is such a new field that no university is really up to date with it.
And even if it was, you can get more effective and faster education in private sector through certificates.
AND EVEN THEN, there is probably some 16 year old chinese hacker out there that everyday does 20 hour "workshifts" that will be ahead of all of us.
The cybsec courses I had on my uni were total garbage, literally "how to protect ur computer by updating software and setting up firewall" type of course that teaches old ladies what is difference between worm/trojan/malware.
What you do is go for computer science and do a lot of home projects during the uni that are tangential to the topics you're learning on uni. This way you will learn the value of practical knowledge and incorporating theoretical knowledge you learn on uni into something more useful than just bland theory on paper.

Just to add up, my main career path is digital electronics and low level programming (last year student electrical engineer with specialization in electronics) and am currently pushing for regional car parts manufacturer that is into electrical cars.
My hobby since highschool was cybsec and I think it always will be since its really fun and intriguing finding new things and new ways towards da loot.

basically what >>7200 said, again it depends where you wanna go if the field, it's both really new and very broad do you want to do blue team (firewalls, patches, SIEM, etc) become an analyst, red team (hacking into companies) documentation writing, policy.
as for how to get started, the best way to, is to do. start a blog and write about a project, even if you fail show what you learned and how to set up. This not only is good documentation to look at when your stuck, but also shows you can do these things, but also effectively write about it as well. Which in security is becoming a needed skill.
Same way the best writers are not the best at writing their the best at marketing. If you wanna job you need to be able to market yourself as well. Getting in touch
after getting a decent skill sets and a few entry level certs will get your foot in the door.
