Im looking for either a laptop, some sort of affordable tower, or Raspberry Pi alternative to use as a secondary computer dedicated to basic anonymous internet stuff. I had to give up on pre-2005 thinkpads, PowerPC processors and other obscure stuff that isnt backdoored because Qubes wont have drivers. It can have a slow processor but Im probably gonna need more ram and wifi built-in preferably. Im unsure what processor to use because AMD and Intel are backdoored. I hear some chinese netbook Stallman uses is secure, anyone know what that is?

You want to use Qubes but Qubes only supports Intel and you think Intel is "backdoored". Looks like your dreams are not compatible with reality.
There is no such thing as secure from everything. What you need is a threat model. What are you trying to defend and from who?

Qubes supports both Intel and AMD.

Just use OpenBSD and Tor. Tails is also a good option.

You're thinking of the Lemote Yeeloong. I managed to get one years back, but you won't be able to find one nowadays.

I thought he said he's using a Thinkpad last time I saw him on TV.

Qubes needs an iommu and AMD doesn't put those in mobile chips so practically speaking only Intel is supported (assuming you want something portable).

He used Yeeloong before, now I think he is using a Thinkpad X60 w/ Libreboot

Tails isn't a good option, use OpenBSD or a distro Linux source-based. Configure your system as you want (cflags, useflags and etc)

Good luck configuring OpenBSD so that it rivals tails for "anonymous internet stuff".

>install openbsd
>sudo pkg_add tor
>route your wanted programs through socks5 127.0.0.1 port 9050 (use torify if necessary)
done

This is not a valid answer if the threat model includes dns leaks or a physical attacker.
On the other hand, Google Chrome with Incognito mode is an acceptable answer if the threat model is hiding internet history from grandma.
This is exactly why security questions without a threat model are a complete waste of space.

oh no

OpenBSD has tor-browser packaged as well.
