Can you guys give some good resources for modern cryptography subjects?
I read Schnier's "applied cryptography" back in the day, and I feel like I am way behind on topics like:
* cryptocurrency / blockchain
* ECC
* Post-quantum crypto
Can you guys help me get a handle on this? Books? Articles? Videos?

if you get basic crypto primitives, blockchains can be explained in about half an hour. Blue31brown as a video on them.
ECC and most post-quantum stuff, on the other hand, is based on very advanced mathematics. I'm a grad student and I don't fully understand elliptic curves.

blockchains are more complex than "You sign a transaction with your private key". The fun part is the network code and the consensus protocol.

yeah and that's not very hard to get a handle of, concept-wise.
