You have to learn to be a little more credulous about stuff like this.
Granted, it's sinister as hell, right? Yet the US military is a VAST bureaucracy filled with :
A) some really lazy officers who need to somehow justify both Pentagon budgets and their own sinecures
B) some really hard-working officers who understand how to dazzle the guys holding the purse-strings into letting them have another billion in unmarked funds so they can just turn around and throw it into the same old black ops
Anybody who has worked a corporate or office job recognizes these types, and also knows that the military is full of the same half-assed lazy dropouts you'll find anywhere else, even in the officer corps. Worse, in some cases.
Look, it's bad, and the AI sector basically exists so that it can be weaponized. But you need to attenuate every claim they make and give it a kind of reality check.
In any case, what will you DO about it, besides post? I've found the people who are going to resist this, I've joined them, and we're going to push back.
They're out there--will you seek them?

reminds me of the april fool's RFC of 2024
RFC 9564 – "Faster Than Light Speed Protocol (FLIP)," Informational.
The recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) such as large language models enable the design of the Faster than Light speed Protocol (FLIP) for Internet. FLIP provides a way to avoid congestion, enhance security, and deliver faster packets on the Internet by using AI to predict future packets at the receiving peer before they arrive. This document describes the protocol, its various encapsulations, and some operational considerations.
lmao at these fuarrrking clowns and the corrupt military complex
