Secureblue OS

i saw it as one of the reccomended security focused OSes on privacyguides website, i never got into using qubes or whonix but this seems pretty alright? its not slow, i gusss kicksecure can be a bit outdated because its based on debian and this is based on fedora so its a little more up to date, it uses flatpaks a lot so theres relatively simple permission setting if you add flatseal, it has a built in auditing app for hardening and privacy a little bit. have you guys ever checked it out or liked it? thinking about switching from arch+cachy-v4 repos to this but im not sure yet.

installed it and tried it out. the hardened malloc has to be turned off for a decent amount of apps, xwayland needs to be turned on for a few, the flatpak permissions are nice, however my computer corrupts itself a lot so now it cant update but can boot. id probably try out silverblue and see if its any better but the fact that secureblue can still boot even after corrupting an update is really relieving, unlike arch.

>>27847 >my computer corrupts itself a lot Because of secureblue? Do you have any idea what might be causing it?

>>27881 no, it corrupted itself on arch so i switched to secureblue. it corrupted itself again, since i last posted ive been on silverblue and my computer has worked perfectly lol. my only guess is maybe the nvidia kernel modules mess stuff up somehow? btw i replaced the ssd, one of the sodimm ram sticks is soldered in, the other is replaceable but i dont wanna buy ram rn lol
