Remove self from internet

Most quick and efficient way to remove personal information from an imageboard?
Hello Lainanons, I am new here, just a novice interested in cybersec and OSINT. A long time ago I was a stupid teenager and was not careful with keeping personal info about myself private, I used to do dumb things that pissed some other dumb teenagers off and as a result someone with a vendetta gathered enough information about me to dox me and put it on an Obscure Altchan. It's been many since but the post is still up and I would like to get it removed.
what is the most practical way to go about this? Should I just offer money to the mods to remove it or are there third parties available who are reliable in removing such things, and if so who are those reliable third parties?

>teenager

Maybe he meant "along time ago when I was a stupid teenager" now he's a grandpa like the rest of us?

To be frank, go into hiding and start using a new username on new accounts and don't interact with the old identity or the websites you used to go in. How much data did they gather? If anything financial is related, start monitoring them and ask to be contacted about credit card purchases or fund transfers,
After a few months, the dust will settle on your old ass. Even then, don't touch them again. That identity is a landmine, now. Anyone notices new activity again on your old username and they'll come back on your case.

thank you for being the first person in this thread to actually offer advice. It's nothing that extensive thankfully, just a name and some embarrassing stuff. All I want is to remove this one post. What third party entity could I reach out to who would be ideal in removing libelous posts from obscure image boards?

Read Mike Bazzells how to disappear, and OSINT books. He's a glowie but has some good advice. Just ignore the parts about "trust the government" with soykaf like PO boxes and such.

None i think, lol. The ones you see in ads and what not will wipe data for you from like, google and what not. big data hoarding companies, basically, but from imageboards? I have no idea if they can do that. You can also just mention it to the authorities. Doubt it'll go far but worth mentioning if you are willing to speak to em.

Then it sounds like the most realistic thing to do would be to just bribe a mod or janny to delete it. What is the most reasonable amount of money to offer them that would make em do it quick but wouldn't entice them so much as to try and raise their price thinking that I might be desperate?

Here are the steps to take to remove it:
1. Pass the tag end behind the "8" shape made with the rope
2. Wrap it around the upper loop and the standing part
3. Wrap it 3 more times
4. wrap it 3 more times again
5. Pass it through the small top loop
6. Hold the lower loop and pull the tag to tighten
7. The hangman's noose is completed

You can remove it from search results if they are cached:

bribe, good advice
OP have you looked into legal measures? Essentially just sue their soykaf if your country's laws are applicable. Or the country where they're hosted. who.is, just figure it out

make sure to get yourself removed from archive.org and archive.is as well, and delete old accounts from any email addresses listed. don't delete the inboxes you will regret it
if you want to be a snitch you can also try to get the chan in trouble with the domain registrar and have them shoah'd

You cant archive.is is not like archive.org in regards to removing free speech

Ask the admins to remove it. If they're unreasonable, report them to their ISP.
If nothing still happens, VPN up and just post on the board strategically -- it's an imageboard; content is ephemeral. Bump everything except for you thread. Then make a few threads to knock yours off.
Since you're acting like this info has been up for years, no one will probably be around to care that you've done this.
Once the data has been removed from the board, start trying to dox yourself -- google for some verbatim search terms that would be expected to return for that imageboard thread. If you find any results, use google's tools to request a page refresh removal. Since you've shuffled the board around, the request should go through, and within a day or so, the results should remove.
check how DDG and the rest see you. They don't have a removal request system, but it'll let you at least know how fuarrrked you are.
