RF Copying Device

Hello friends, this is my first ever post on any of these forums. Kinda scared I'm gonna mess it up but gotta try at least. I'm in school for cybersecurity and just got my AWS CCP 2 days ago btw. So I had this idea to use a raspberry pi to make a kind of cheap flipper zero. It'll have an LCD screen and buttons to run the simple rf signal copying commands I imagine it being easy to use and hand held. Hoping this will get me out of the script kiddy phase lol. Hope you guys think it's a good idea!!! Picture is a cool rpi case i've had forever, need to do something with it but the case I plan to use for the project is hardly a case rn.

Just stick Kali on the pi and slap on an RC522. Jobs done.

Posting about an actual project is a good start, but your thread really doesn't convey any information or set the grounds for discussion. It's just "I'm going to use a pi for rf copying." Are you asking for advice on how to accomplish this? Have you started the project and have details you want to share? Do you have any use cases for it you want to share? Do you have any justification for why this is in /sec/ and not in /tech/?
