Not sure if this thread belongs here, I apologize in advance if this post is in some violation of the board.
Really big into crypto, especially XMR and the technology and bringing back the meaning of crypto which is full control and privacy over your currency. Although XMR's main purpose is to full privacy what would be some bullet proof ways to secure your crypto that can be traced more easily I.E BTC?(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST, You should always elaborate on your opinions rather than just spilling the soykaf.)

Currently the best way is to trade for XMR, send the XMR to your own wallet, and then trade it back for the other crypto. Be mindful of timing attacks, the normal IP and internet anonymity stuff, the reduced privacy of large amounts, and tracing of specific amounts of cryptocurrency (ie. buying 1.15643 XMR and then later trading that specific quantity for BTC). There are supposedly other caveats to consider if you get really into the technical details of how the privacy works and how it can be attacked or partially attacked that I couldn't really give an informed opinion on. I think you can't actually get it truly "bullet proof" but in most cases you can probably get it so no one will trace you.
This sounds like a lot of effort but I think it's really cool having digital cash that is actually like cash and doesn't dox you.
