I think we should create our own little malware repository here on Lainchan.
Unfortunately I have read the rules and it seems this would break the rule #10. That is like kicking dead whales down the beach.
Is there a way we could do it without breaking the rules? What about linking the malware instead of uploading it directly? Would that still break the rules?
Like... There is nothing wrong with posting malware if you make it clear that it is a malware and so everybody (or at least everybody who actually reads the post before downloading stuff) is aware that the file is malicious... right? Right??

It does break the spirit of the rule 10 , if not the word. It also breaks rule 7.
Yes there are lots of things wrong with posting malware here, not limited to the possibly of getting us deplatformed for terms of service violation.
So you are wrong. If you actually want to have a discussion about malware , malware analysis and threat intelligence, then you are better to not directly link to malware, but instead link to other links of malware like https://www.misp-project.org/ , an open source threat sharing platform, https://thezoo.morirt.com/ , theZoo is a project created to make the possibility of malware analysis open and available to the public. , https://github.com/Endermanch/MalwareDatabase , https://zeltser.com/malware-sample-sources/ , list of sources and https://mass-project.github.io/, a The Malware Analysis and Storage System (MASS) provides a distributed and scalable architecture to analyze malware samples and stuff like https://virusshare.com/ .
Other examples include https://github.com/Pyran1/MalwareDatabase , https://github.com/topics/malware-database
and projects on the following list https://github.com/hslatman/awesome-threat-intelligence , especially https://github.com/OpenCTI-Platform/opencti .
If you really want to make your repository of malware, then you should host it on your own git or fossil server.

I'd also like to include vxunderground there was well.

I do this, but on a pi on segmented VLAN running Gitea as an authenticated onion service. Just for friends. Only run it there to keep source closed :)
Do you have boxes that you'd be willing to throw the files on, along with an IRC daemon?

There's literally a malware dev general (>>14192) and a reversing thread (>>12464) where you can do that.
Hosting malware binaries or directly linking to them on lainchan is a terrible idea as web hosts and third parties routinely scan for such things and will ban customers for it or cause browsers to flag websites as malicious.
