How to build my own botnet? What i need to know, what is the best language for this?

If you plan to do this from scratch then you first need to figure out what systems your going to be using for this and if the already-existing software would be good enough. Changing config or recompiling is easier than DIY and less time consuming.

There is a bunch of open source botnet/post exploitation to learn from, id suggest taking some notes from them and building on top of them. https://github.com/malwaredllc/byob is a good start with lots of documentation. remember hack to learn, don't learn to hack.
