Anti-Stylometry
Joe Bloggs · 2021-11-24 23:44
Can the standard form of a language be combined with another standards, (e.g. how you explain something, the words you use or even the caligraphy) and people start using these standards to confuse stylometry? For example: a group of people using standard english, avoiding the word "then" and writing in the font Arial by hand. This can be used in case you need anonymity when posting or writing something, so the glowies get confused when trying to apply stylometry.
I ask this because sometimes I get uncomfortable when showing hand-written piece of papers to others, and i had to send one to the gubberment.

just run your text through google translate before posting.
Simply run your text through Google Translate before publishing.

There isn't much backing to stylometry so I wouldn't worry too much about it. What matters more is region specific words.
Chani · 2021-11-25 03:43
I would worry more about words specific to certain regions, worry about referencing anything in language form from more than one niche community, worry about alluding to the fact that you have peronally accessed a particular web resource (adversary knows where to analyze now), than stylometry.
If you tend to make certain analogies or to structure your words in a certain way, that is much harder but is still somewhat ambiguous.
There was once a program to evade this called Anonymouth, though I know not if it is still developed.

There is a repo that appears like it might be 7 years more updated than that one.

Is anything going to change?

>Google doesn't log every single query into translate
You're as dumb as a crackhead
SHODAN · 2021-11-25 10:36
Use a language without much morphology or freedom of expression that results in stylistic differences, like the one anglo d*gs speak for example. Oh, wait, we already use it to write on lainchan.

Notice I am not speaking only about typing.

Is LibreTranslate better? i do not guarantee that they do not log.
>>18104
I would not wait until stylometry gets better or the glowies openly admit they use stylometry.

This is cool. I also thought in puting the character inside these parenthesis () inside every word in my texts to machines do not read, but for this to work in terms of anonymity more than one people will have to use, and I am afraid of modern tools stripping these characters.

I am not speaking specifically of english. Case languages, for example, can use only the order SOV with the adjectives before the nouns. I do not know if there is a standard for this in case languages.

A bunch of my friends and I got gud at this because we had to fill out a series of "randomized' surveys for hostile work environment. We were all pretty sure that our bosses were going to retaliate. So we started changing up word order, complexity of sentences (simple sentences vs lots of commas and semi-colons), capitalization (caps lock on or off) and intentionally misspelling the same word repeatedly.
After the results came out, it was funny that you could tell who was who by what they wrote, but I remember seeing someone else who had a modified style that resembled the way I normally write which made me lol.
As or handwriting, practice changing slant, pressure, and sharpness. get different pens with thicker/thinner grips.

Ive found friends anonymous youtube accounts because of the posting style and subject posted on. There are some circles where people are too individualistic to not be identified.
