Bootleg youtube

Cutter · 2021-07-19 20:54
I'm thinking of running a bootleg youtube channel, uploading tv shows and movies while avoiding copyright laws and taking the big bucks away from the megacorps. How do I do that without getting caught? Here's an example https://youtu.be/5hV3gU-GAo4

you can't do it forever, but how people have been doing it now ranges from cropping video, adding timestops, running the video through those "40 frames 4k remaster".

>>16660 I know how it's done, question is how do I not get caught, the fines for copyright infrigement can get pretty pricy

>>16665 How do I do that? Is getting a throwaway email and credit card to link to the account enough or should I get a computer that I only connect to public wi fi as well? I'm kind of tech illiterate, been a mac user since I was a kid

>>16659 Doesn't youtube have automated detection and deleting of copyrighted content? YT seems like a terrible platform to do this on. If you want to make megacorps lose money just upload torrents of new movies and shows. Not getting caught is the same process as staying anonymous when it comes to anything else. VPN, firewall, tor, etc

>>16666 Youtube might have additional scrutiny but other google services are simple. All you need for an anonymous account is an anonymous phone number and a VPN. If you buy the phone, sim, and service with cash, aren't on camera, and nothing is tied to your name/address, that should be sufficient. Normal opsec rules apply. If you get derezzed or feel the heat, get rid of the phone and the SIM and walk away. This isn't bulletproof and you would get busted if you were doing a terrorism, but we're talking about lolsuits. >taking the big bucks If you want to make money like this, don't bother. But if you insist, scale up to make it worth your while and use mules.

>>16659 So you want to fool a giant swarm of corporations that send copyright strikes to genuine "content creators" who used a 6-second fragment from an old song in 10-minute video because it was performed by an orchestra owned by SONY last year. Yeah, r-right. The only kind of tv show that survives on Youtube is either something very obscure and failed in ratings from 1980's that it exists in abandonware limbo, or uploaded by it's copyright holder. Making money off youtube ads is like sucking dick for 20 dollars and giving 15 to your pimp. You are not doing yourself any good, you are not doing good to your viewers either, they paid 20 dollars for a 6 dollar blowjob with ads every 5 minutes. Don't waste your time and do proper bootlegs: seed scene releases on iMule and i2p.

>>16672 So what you mean is they won't trace my credit card so all I need is a burner and a vpn, any free vpn you recommend? >Normal opsec rules apply I don't know what this means

>>16659 >I'm kind of tech illiterate >taking the big bucks away from the megacorps. >I don't know what this means So you're too dumb to create anything yourself. So you want to destroy someone else's creation. Except you're too dumb to even do that. Sometimes there' s a suicide thread in /hum/, try there.

>>16824 I'm just talking about uploading simpsons clips stop being so dramatic
BloodCat · 2021-07-26 16:37
>>16823 Who the fuarrrk said anything about a credit card? Unless you have an anonymous reloadable credit card, absolutely not. And normal opsec rules means you don't do anything to undermine the secrecy of what you've achieved, e.g. telling your friends on fsbgram that you're doing this youtube thing.
