Ransomware Sources · 2021-07-17 07:37
Are there any sources (clearnet or tor onions) that have full source codes for all kinds of ransomwares? I am genuinelly interested in how they work (more than basic ransomware) now that I have OSCP and started working on cybersecurity.

VXUnderground has the most malware samples I know about, including ransomware. https://github.com/vxunderground https://vx-underground.org/ you can also use google dorks site:github.com "ransomware" will also pull up alot of resources. Hopes that helps, also congrats on oscp.

Thanks man, appreciated! I looked at the vx-underground site, but I am not sure how it's supposed to be unpacked, how would you go around downloading the torrent files (there is many), also the zip seems encrypted and there doesn't seem to be a password on there. These are probably dumb questions, but I have never really dealt with this kind of stuff other than vanilla OSCP ones, but I am definitely willing to learn from you guys.

>>16640 the password for the 7z/zip files are usually "infected" w/o quotes. to download torrents you will need a torrent downloader bittorrent/utorrent etc. people will argue which is best, just pick one.

Oh yeah, of course, I know how to download torrents, I just see it has many 'blocks' in parts, so not sure if you should download all of them or how it works exactly. Thanks for the password, I'll check it out!
