radio hacking

Hey lainons. Is there anyone here who does radio hacking? Can you tell us what you can do with the radio and where to start in general?

Step 1.: Buy rtl-sdr 2.: reverse some random protocol you see in your neighborhood 3.: try to replicate the signal with gnu radio, buy a transmitter and mess with some devices

Get a CC1101 to play around with, its cheap and well documented. People use them to get into cars and steal stuff
