Can we have some Ebooks and discussion about Private Investigation? Epub is preferred, but PDF's are also good. I aspire to become a Private Investigator, but I've hit a roadblock and I'm looking for some inspiration and advice, anything is welcome.

Doug White of the paul's security weekly crew has a history as a private investigator and could probably answer any questions you have. https://twitter.com/dougwhitephd

Would any lainon's want to start a Analysis group?
Faye Valentine · 2017-04-21 03:07
>>173 Yes. Where do we start?
Eldon Tyrell · 2017-04-21 20:47
>>199 Well, we need to do two things, 1. share contact information 2. Discuss what are we doing analysis on first? 3. How we are going to do it
Hagbard Celine · 2017-04-24 01:17
I thought lainons would be interested in this.
Roger Pollack · 2017-04-25 17:25
>>209 Im interested. We should start an irc channel to group up and talk.
Neuromancer · 2017-04-26 04:31
>>209 I'm gonna make us an irc channel. You guys down for that?
Emmanuel · 2017-04-26 16:47

Jane Doe · 2017-04-26 22:02
Which channel are you calling it?

Cutter · 2017-04-27 01:22
>>173 >>199 We need an aim, and that comes from some principle we can all agree to. What can we agree about? What are our strengths? What skills can lains bring to the cybertable?
Jane Doe · 2017-04-27 02:05
>>336 Why not just use the irc.lainchan.org?
Zero Cool · 2017-04-29 00:00
This seems like a good idea, count me in as well.

>>336 Freenode blocks Tor. Let's use https://lainchan.org/irc.html
Linda Lee · 2017-04-29 17:03
>>391 Stop spreading the half story, you shouldn't just say "Freenode blocks Tor". Freenode blocks Tor. But you can access it from their End-to End encryption Hidden Service within Tor, via freenodeok2gncmy.onion. There is the problem is, it requires an existing NickServ account with SASL EXTERNAL authentication method by certfp with a certificate configured, where the process needs clearnet access, it is sub-optimal, but once you are done (possibly with a VPN), Tor access is absolutely no problem.
