How should one register a domain (the extension isn't important)while being anonymous? Unknown to state actors.
While retaining admin access to the domain and ideally legal ownership.
Is that even possible?

The registration process was specifically designed to keep that from being possible. You might be able to do it with fake whois info, but then if anybodh ever claims you aren't the real owner, they'll be believed.

I've never used any of these services, and would only ever pay for it if they didn't keep any of my info (aka accepted bitcoins and didn't ask for my info, like name for example).
It's certainly possible to do it, though.
