i just want a friend. i have people but no one i can really connect with or talk about anything real with. maybe i'm wrong about this but my whole life it always seems like conversations just involved people wanting to talk but not wanting to listen. pretty much learned people only care about what you say if it's funny or interesting and funny was always a safe bet so i got stuck as the funny weird guy. and now I have no one to talk about anything real with. point is as someone who could care less about the novelty of having a girlfriend, you can't have one even if you don't have any friends to start with.

I don't know how you look, but if you are at least decent or plain average, there are definitely women around, whom you'd like to make out with and et cetera, that return the thought you are adorable, but very few are inclined to speak to the lonely because fear of judgment. People have a greater motive to act respectfully in the presence of a stranger, especially to those who are lonely; for they are aware that the negative appraisal of a loner is more permanent. The loner thinks more, observes more, reflects upon his interactions more. Hence to impart such a bad impression is less desirable to the humanly pensive woman. Those who you call fat and ugly possess greater motive to converse with their attractions because they realize the majority of men aren't sharing the mutual attraction. Don't be socially awkward fuarrrkin' weirdo. Don't worry so much about what other people think. Don't try to be cool. Realize when someone is uncomfortable. Tbh fam, if you go to school, be it college or high school, I recommend joining a club that suits your interest. That's how I met my current girlfriend I've been dating for nearly a year now. When you meet someone in a club or similar group, you already share a common interest. This is a great start. If you give it some effort and don't completely spill your spaghetti then you'll have some hits and misses until you find a few people you may click with. Just be friends, go to functions, have fun with your common interest. If you click with a girl in particular ask her if she wants to hang out outside of the club. This kind of thing works much better than asking out random girls at the grocery store or something weird like that. If you're not in school, then there are probably similar club functions outside of that environment. If you do this, just enjoy yourself and the club you're in. The rest will work itself out [citation needed].

I played ball in HS, the only girls who go after guys like that (like me in HS) are the kind that hate the idea of real independence, they also undoubtedly have some of the most toxic relationships with their fathers. If a girl likes you because you're a criminal or because you're famous; I'd probably run the other way. My friends dad told him this and it's something I stick by "A man should always date up" if they aren't better than you they aren't worth your time.
