I got sick of it all one day, packed my soykaf and drove over 300 miles away.
Came back a few days later when I realized country towns have no jobs for a sysadmin.

i've hitched all over the place. only memorable time was:
>go to party at my friends hometown, hours away from where we live
>friends car breaks down minutes into the return trip
>we get towed back to the nearest "town"
>stuck pretty much in the middle of nowhere
i was very lucky to find someone to give me a ride back
