Can we have an Investing/Money Management thread?
I've been playing around with small amounts of money just buying and selling.

you best be taking advantage of penny stock my nigga. Also wait until around christmas time when the market plummets once again then dump a bunch of money in. I had invested during the last slump recently and managed to profit about $32,000. After that its all real estate nigga

so sad i didn't get in.

well bitcoin is too sketch to guarantee returns. if you are starting off small (under 5k) id say look into the robinhood app for penny stocks until you get a feel for things or at least stack up enough for an investment thats worth the time

That would explain it. 2k goes fast here.
In total I have about 9k saved but that's for my education. Usually I save what I can from work and pay my tuition off from there and try not to touch savings. A semester is about $811 which is pretty darn cheap.
I did the calculations and since I have 3 semesters left at ~800 each plus books I need about 3 grand total so I'm covered for now.

University costs 300 for semester and I can rent a nice apartment with some friends for cheap. I need about 40 bucks a week for fuel and food.
I actually need less than 2k but it would be better to have that just in case.

I need about $60 a week for fuel alone when I'm working every day. What's good is that I live with my parents so I split bills with my dad.
#1 thing is to not get into debt. you do that and you're better off than at least half the population.(in the us anyway)
funny story, my cousin calls me up one day and asked me to co sign a car loan for a new car.
oh, it wasn't for her, it was for her junkie boyfriend. the fuarrrking balls on that cunt.
