Turning the botnet against itself and other solutions for quick cash online

Lady 3Jane.. · 2018-10-22 15:03
So lainons, kind of in a desperate situation, world turning against my life and needing to fight back strongly to save what matters to me in this world. Not blogposting about personal problems, but to give a context for the question and what type of advice I need, I'm living on a third-world country (inb4 Indian), bunch of soykaf went down and making money here is almost impossible. So I want to dive into the wired for the most stupid, boring or brain-torturing tasks or quick little jobs to make money in a proper currency, which even if seeming like nothing to you would help me because of conversion. Practically anything short of doing illegal/risky or sex/lewd stuff, I'm up to. I'm not asking for actual jobs, I will be doing more relevant stuff too for the bulk of the money I need, but things are so urgent that I will spend all free time I can doing any stupid soykaf except for those I mentioned for soykafty payment so it can add to my plans and strategy. My main professional skill is knowing a bunch of languages, so things related to that and translations are great but besides I'm just up to the retarded stuff like clicking something for cents, researching images for some botnet crap, or writing subtitles for videos, that type of almost automated, inhuman chores. Not so short and quick stuff like writing tutorials, submitting reviews to stuff, whatever, are great too. As a translator I'm used to writing a lot, and writing fast. I've been researching already and reading all I can get, have some ideas, even if still unsure of what would work best for my specific situation, but since lainons live deeper into the wired's universe, I'm going to need some of that esoteric knowledge of the undergrounds to help do as much as I can as fast as possible. More mainstream things are welcome too, as I may not have heard of them yet, or advices from people who did something similar, I just need all the help you guys can give me. Just remember, on third world country, so stuff that requires being on the US or in a specific country wouldn't do, short of that please keep anything you know coming and I will be very thankful to anyone who can add anything whatsoever.

assuming your country has weak currency, you could always try playing the buying power/exchange rate gap in your favor. buy cheap products in bulk at local prices (works best if your country does a lot of manufacturing for export) and sell them online to americans. gotta get past restrictions on import/export but i wouldn't know what those are because idk what country you're talking about (are you the turkish anon who made a similar thread a little while ago?).
Lain Iwakura · 2018-10-22 15:53
>>9912 Not Turkish anon, I looked for similar threads before making this but couldn't find any. Your idea is pretty interesting, and my situation should allow for some of that as the currency I'd be dealing in can be bought with about 4 going for each USD. On the other hand, subjected to completely absurd local taxes on each product, so not as comfy as could be on other similar places. Still, I'll look into it as I want to try all that I can, just not ideal because of the taxes part, and that I'd have to buy stuff then see if there is interest and could run some risks there. I'm mostly looking for quick, guaranteed stuff even if the pay is crap (wouldn't be for me). If you or other lainon has any idea of what type of products, or general suggestions, would be of interest as examples, that would be great to. Anyways, thanks a lot lainon, just knowing of more opportunities should make me more knowledgeable on the possibilities and able to deal better with all the soykafstorm. Really appreciate it.

>>9912 I am turkish anon. I am living with only eating potato and bread, cheap cake etc. I don't want work anymore. I smoke rolled cigarettes by me, eat cheap things. I will start programming but not now. I am highly depressive. I need protein and vitamins :d I don't have a car anymore. I walk everywhere. To other anon. I don't want give advice about botnets. If your network grows up upper 100k , fbi probably visit you or they contact to your local police.
Jim Hilger · 2018-10-22 17:54
>>9914 Op here, sorry for all that turkish anon, hope you find a way out. You're way worse than I am and I'm already feeling terrible about it all. My request wasn't about literal botnets, specific I don't want anything illegal. I was talking about using the dirty tricks of the wired in a way against itself to avoid being swallowed by all the soykaf of this world we're living in.
Sabo Engle · 2018-10-22 18:50
>>9915 I wasn't serious at all but My diet is not good and healthy. Anyway, why do you hide your country? If your country similar to turkey, I recommend you to open a github account, share open source codes and proof yourself to business owners. If you want be a freelancer or easy cash, do something for Android. There are millions of users. I believe you can something good. There is not easy money. I know one guy earn 2500 $ from porn website but he was working 5 hours for adding porns. If you work regularly 5 hours for one thing, I believe you can earn more than this.
Tank · 2018-10-22 19:51
>>9916 I don't know why my country would be relevant to the question, think everything necessary to understand the situation I did share. My question is about those meaningless little things you can do online and get some silly money, like clicking ads, doing research for others, etc. not long term prospects like establish myself as a programmer or anything else. I want to pile enough of these useless things that pay like soykaf, putting in many hours on it, to support what I am already doing professionally, so I can save some extra money on top of what I have.

I recall a mention on another thread that sites fiverr and vworker could be useful for denizens in an economically challenged country. The work is all online and the monetary exchange rate would be such that it might be worth the effort. Competition would be very high, though.

>>9920 Think that each time you do that, you make statistically less likely for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to exist irl. And feel bad. Very bad.

>>9913 >If you or other lainon has any idea of what type of products, or general suggestions, would be of interest as examples, that would be great to. Again, it depends on which country you live in, but I can give you an example. A lot of "american" electronics are manufactured in east asia. When these devices need to be repaired, american repair shops need to buy replacement parts. The manufacturer (apple, sony, etc.) is generally unwilling to sell these parts domestically, so these repair shops will often import parts directly from an overstock reseller in asia. If you, for instance, lived in east asia, you could buy bulk overstock cell phone screens, batteries, etc. at wholesale/local prices and make a profit by selling them to american repair shops at american prices. It doesn't have to be cell phone parts either; it could be car parts, basic electronic components, dry goods...

i should add that this >>9922 suggestion is relatively high effort, but with higher potential for reward. from your posts, its sounds like this >>9918 is more what you're looking for. also, somebody just made a thread on money sites/SEO that you might find interesting. making money on affiliate spam is probably more of a commitment than doing unskilled contract work, but it has the advantage of being mostly passive.
The Oracle · 2018-10-23 13:49
You could translate stuff on Rev if you are fluent in those languages. It wouldn’t be a tremendous amount of money but it would be reasonably reliable as long as you have an internet connection. I believe they hire globally.
Elliot Alderson · 2018-10-23 17:58
>>9923 You're right, I am happy to hear any suggestions whatsoever, because who knows what may come and I will be trying a lot of stuff. Like you said, this >>9918, and also >>9924 are the kind of stuff. Rev mostly is what I am thinking will be the real solution here, probably. I can translate to and from 3 to 4 languages in there, and the type of money it pays is exactly what I'm after. Like I said, I have other forms of work and long-term, actual money stuff aren't really what I need the most, even if I can study some possibilities. Basically, I want to get solutions where I can come here, sit for 4-6 hours a day and either do something reasonably decent like translate, write bullsoykaf articles or categorize stuff for people, or, when those are not available, just solve captchas, search pics online, or any other type of mturk slave stuff. As long as I know for a fact I can get at least $10-$15 a day doing that stupid stuff for that amount of hours I am happy about it, because that money literally can change my life considerably right now. Again, thanks a lot to anyone who is contributing, I am checking, reading about, trying to learn more about each single suggestion, alongside others I'd been looking into before.

Lady 3Jane.. · 2018-10-24 22:30
>>9924 My wife was doing work with Rev for quite awhile. It kept us from going hungry, so I'll +1 this.
Donna Hawthorne · 2018-10-25 00:14
>>9926 rev .com >>9927 Op here, I really wanted to get into Rev and seems the most promising of everything I've looked into. But the day I first heard and looked up Rev it was taking new people in, I didn't make the account right away and now go there everyday and they're always closed. Could you maybe disclose an idea of the cash she was making for an aprox. of the time she was putting in? It would help me a great detail with making plans. I got accepted to mturk today and will be checking out what I can do in there, in general it's kind of the lowest of the low but there is always stuff coming in from what I've seen so at least I know I can save some hours, sit down and have an almost guarantee, even if small, outcome. Works for me. Congratulate me, lainbros, I've left a piece of my humanity behind and I'm one step further into trans-humanism.

Thanks for all the people that replied to this, I live in a close life to this. Is there's a way to use Mturk even tho they close the registering process for people in my country? Thanks in advance.

Did OP get any $$ after all?
Maximiliaan Jej · 2020-06-17 01:26
>>17785 I have the feeling that OP is Brazilian because the Reais were at a 4:1 exchange rate to Dollars in 2018. I'm afraid the economy only got worse, we are still waiting for a turnaround but now that the world seems to be heading into a global recession, it will probably get worse. I hope OP is doing better now.

>>18309 i love the vtuber thing it's so cyb (even though i can't actually watch their videos because they're like a distilled pantomime of the worst aspects of youtube/twitch culture). actually, on the subject of the OP: i feel like there's a mostly untapped market for rigged 3d models. 3d is a skillset most internet artist types don't have, and the ones that do generally don't have the technical know-how to do proper rigging and model format conversion (seriously, look up some youtube tutorials on how to convert a MMD model or whatever to work in luppet. these people are jumping through all kinds of hoops involving unmaintained github plugins for outdated versions of blender, unity's rigging tool, random freemium crapware... it's a mess). however i did find out that there are some artists who do 3d avatar commissions, sort of like how you can get commission work to draw branding for twitch/youtube channels, but the 3d market isn't nearly as saturated as the latter. there's probably money to be made on the software side too, but it would be a bit more effort. most people are using something like facerig and luppet, which are both kind of expensive. one of the popular options for webcam capture even has a subscription model. it's insane that there are so few good options. there are off the shelf FOSS licensed AI face capture libraries that do all the hard work for you. you'd just have to whip up a nice interface and some rendering code. vrm files are basically the standard so you'd really only have to support that (although supporting MMD's format, arbitrary FBX, and/or whatever rigging format unity uses would give you a competitive edge). hell, you could probably just do the whole thing in a game engine like godot or unity and you'd just be writing some scripts to glue it together.
