What are some good IRC channels to download old anime? Horriblesubs (and all of the other channels I've checked) only have new anime.

Why can't you torrent?

Torrenting works fine for modern anime, but for old anime you either get corrupted files, bad subs or simply can't find it in Japanese with English subs.

Didn't Urusei Yatsura just have a BluRay release a couple of years back?

I guess all torrented files are "corrupted" until you have all the pieces.
Also if your media player can't play an old video file with a weird encoding then an unsophisticated user might think the file is "corrupted".
