feels good every time: sending alts and tokens to randoms

every few months, i send a fraction of my returns from trades + passive income sources to randomly chosen donation addresses which are associated with individuals or groups responsible for producing high quality material, be it software, non profits, writers, artists and charities. i recommend anyone in such a position should do the same at least be it once to feel how rewarding this. last for a few hours, but is like nothing else.

I donate to a few nonprofits. I wish I could give more.

Have definitely heard that regular charity like this, no matter how small, changes your relationship with wealth and is very good for your mental well-being. You're a good person OP. We need more of this, especially in the arts.

One christmas I donated to a bunch of things. FSF, EFF, ACLU, Pink Pistols, Doctors Without Boarders, I2P, GPG, Tox, Dyne, Krita, GIMP, Tor, Trisquel, Debian, a few others. I took some of my savings and gave it away. Now I'm too poor to even help myself. I really wish I could help them again this Christmas. The last few years have been really hard on my family. Good on you, OP. You are a good person.
