I saw a UFO a couple weeks back. 5-6 objects in close formation (side by side, NOT in a single file), as dim as satellites but as fast as a shooting star, leaving no trail. my best guess is a meteoroid entered the atmosphere at a very shallow angle, fragmented under the forces of entry, and heated up enough by compression to glow, without ablating any material (therefore no trail), before exiting into either an escape trajectory or a highly eccentric orbit.

maybe lol. I don't think so though, for them to be that fast they would have had to be flying pretty low, and then I would have heard their rotors. my first thought at the time was actually "air-to-air missile", but now I don't think so either. they disappeared behind the clouds I think. I only saw them for, like maybe 7-8 seconds. they were traveling east to west which supports the idea of manmade orbital objects, but if they were on LEO they wouldn't have been that fast. so idk really.

Is that a picture of what you saw or just a similar visual? It wouldn't account for the speed per se, but my understanding is that starlink satellites fly in rows like that.

it's a simulation I made in gimp

I've seen starlink groups twice before. it was not starlink.
