*programmers dream* Apple IIGS Mechanical Orange/Brown Alps Keyboard. Check the layout on this thing. You can use it with an ADB to USB adapter. (not included). This keyboard is very tiny. Feels like a KBT Race or poker. Made in Japan. Alps SKCM Orange and Salmon switches. Caps lock is Alps SKCL Lock; in one orange Alps version, this switch is cream.[1] The change to salmon Alps may coincide with the apparent discontinuation of orange Alps around 1991.

>>14074 Can confirm it is a good keyboard. Brown ALPs can be pretty heavy if you are not used to them, but they make your fingers very strong. I am sad that I sold mine a few months back, but I could not seem to track down an ADB-USB adapter.

>>14084 there are 3 reasonably priced adapters on eBay right now :)

forgot to post this. Another mechanical Apple keyboard. It is a dream to type on. Feels like cherry browns with rubber o rings. http://deskthority.net/wiki/Apple_Extended_Keyboard_II It's running on Alps SKCM Cream Damped switches The most common switch in the Apple Extended Keyboard. The slider has a cream off-white colour. The switches are tactile and comparatively quiet. The sound is dampened by small rubber inserts on either side of the slider which cushions the impact at the end of both the downstroke and the upstroke. Because of the dampening and high tactile point of the cream Alps switches, the keyboards are sometimes mistaken for having rubber dome switches.

>>14183 I don't really think that is the point. The point is to take some of kalyxs stuff and give him money so he does not become homeless. It is like a donation, but you actually get cool stuff out of it.

>>14107 What's that book with the swastika on it in the 3rd pic?

Received my SICP complete with a bonus little EFF sticker today. Thanks a lot, and other lainons look forward to your packages in the near future!

Got my calculators in the mail yesterday! Thank you so much Kalyx.

>>14654 I never received that black xbox controller. Did you ever ship it?

>>16408 I've never received the phone.

Never received the books. What are the odds that USPS loses packets, geninuenly asking.

>>16414 unless the address was wrong, the odds aren't extraordinarily high. I've only had maybe 3-4 packages get lost, and that's over a 10+ year period where i was selling and buying maybe 1000 or so products. Probably more.

Kalyx? Kalyx I bought stuff from you months ago and you never shipped them Then you made that irc channel and told everyone that it was ok because you had money to use for shipping Then a month passed and you still haven't shipped it Then you showed up on irc and told me you needed $20 for shipping, so I donated to you via paypal. I know paypal isn't the fastest for you but it's all I can work with. Plus, I paid it 4 days ago, so you should have the money by now. I told you I needed it before I leave for thanksgiving break, which is friday morning. To ship from KC to where I live, it'll take 3 days (by the map from USPS' site). So in order to get my stuff to me you'd have to ship it on or before today. But you haven't showed up in IRC since and you've never responded to any of my e-mails so I don't know how to contact you (besides making a thread on /q/ which I don't really want to do)

>>16417 Just curious, what kind of stuff did that range from?

I fuarrrked up with a lot of the stuff, You can email me about it and I will respond.

>>18085 >>16414 >>16408 >>16411 Hope y'all learned the lesson about doing business with dindus.

>>18096 Can I still pay you to burn the aynd rand book?

>>18128 kalyx be gettin his life back on track, he a good boy he dindu nuffins!

Christ, how reputable can a website be when you can't even reliably purchase things from the owner/administrator without them not shipping your items and dodging on IRC for a month?

>>18757 I know, right? It's not that fuarrrking hard, you get the money, you ship it. Unless you are a huge fuarrrking fag who can't properly manage money.
