I woke up today and after 1hr of doom scrolling (yeah,I know) I realised none of my friends messaged me or replied to my messages ever since the fight with my best friend because I got jealous after I found out he was going out and spending time with our friend circle I may have overreacted and said some stupid stuff but I never would've thought it'd cause them to avoid me let alone not even reply things must've reached to this extent without me knowing.. this is purely speculative but I think I just isolated myself by being an ungrateful clingy bitch I can see them online playing the same game and obviously having a good time,,, without me,, part pf me says I deserve this and I don't blame you if you agree anon butbutbut I'm honestly completely lost and somewhat confused and conflicted , what do I even do now?? I've known them for over 5 years now and they're my only company how do I properly apologise I really don't want our friendship to end over something as silly as this I won't go as far as killing myself if I end up all alone in earnest but I would never recover pls help any advice is appreciated

>>47781 You say "Sorry I acted like a retarded nigger bitch. There's clearly something going on in my head that I'm going to have to work on. Anyways, ye" and then you fix your retarded, egotistical nonsense. Make great efforts to be less retarded. Good luck.

>>47781 > I've known them for over 5 years now and they're my only company I'd say you're better off just changing your whole social network. People who are afraid or can't stand losing their friends inevitably start to develop bad coping mechanisms and other harmful habits in order to avoid that very outcome. Sure, you could try patching things up, and maybe that way grow as a person and iron out those alleged negative tendencies or character flaws of yours, but that isn't necessarily enough to heal the rift between you. If the negative characteristic of yours is, as you said "being an ungrateful clingy bitch", then, apologizing might take out the first bad characteristic, but then it would only play into the other two bad characteristics. Moreover, the fact that you seem to take this as something of an "end of my world" (as you said: "not as far as killing myself - - but I would never recover") kind of a scenario just speaks volume of the degree of how low your self-esteem and confidence in your own self are - that is, on top of your borderline unhealthy attachment to your current friends. I'd understand this if you happened to be living on a desert island with no one else but you and your friends around, but I very much doubt that is the case. So, whether you do the thing >>47782 suggested or you take the "going on your own way" option, I'd say there's a lot of personal growing ahead of you. Either way, first thing I'd do would try to verify the facts. You said >I got jealous after I found out he was going out and spending time with our friend circle but you said you might've been overreacting. Well, if he did do that, then there's a valid suspicion that they might not like your company and knowingly isolate you from group activities. And if that is the case, then, despite your latest "overreaction/outburst(?)", your relationships with these people could've already been heading towards its breaking point and you were merely hastening that inevitable outcome. So, first things first, get your facts straight, next figure out whether they are actually repairable or not so you'll save yourself some trouble, and then weight the pros and cons of trying to heal your relationships. Only after that should you begin thinking of solutions on how to go about all this.

>>47781 >I may have overreacted and said some stupid stuff but I never would've thought it'd cause them to avoid me let alone What did you say exactly? Some "stupid stuff" might be really disconcerting to normal people. For my part I said seemingly innocuous things that likely soured my friendships, even without me realizing until much later.

What a stupid thread... what a silly problem...

>>47782 I'm retarded ueah I will apologize, thank you anon and good luck to you too >>47781 >"I'd say you're better off just changing your whole social network" No , I can't imagine a world without them and I understand I may sound deranged but in no way would leaving my frens work for bettering myself at all if anything it would just make me worse My relationship with them was completely fine it's only been on the edge when I I got busy and couldn't be as available , i spoke with two of them and they wanted us to get back together the fight between the two of us affected the entire group and now I feel really extremely guilty and stupid Thank you anon >>47791 I won't repeat it word fpr word but what I said was along the lines of "if you hate me so much why don't you say it to my face", "why are we even friends" I've hurt them and it only hit me too late because of my selfish behaviour. >>47792 I'm a very silly retard sorryy

>>47792 The greatest pain is the one you are currently suffering.

>>47801 Heh. I read this as an encouragement: "go and experience the freshest moment of pain you can, because that's how you can get the most fun out of suffering" :D >>47800 > I understand I may sound deranged Not deranged. From the outset it appeared to me as pathological, though, I can't deny it might be just *that* good of a relationship either and, as such, be a completely normal, very positive and extremely special friendship. Anyway, if the problem is solved and it all turned out fine, I suppose we're all done here, and we can all scat now.
