Cars peaked with 90's-00's japanese cars. Some mofos will never know the feeling of curising around the country with nothing above an 8bit microcontroller for the ABS and servo steering. And manual transmission to keep your hunter brain focused. I luv me soykafboxes, I luv me "dad's car", I don't need a dashboard touch screen to play candy crush and a gear shift that says "on" and "off" while being driven by "ai", simple as. I don't know why car companies don't get that. Or they do and want to sell me their overpriced crap. The only new car I know that does that is the Suzuki Jumny 4th gen but for some strange reason it has an import tax that makes it way too expensive. Is there such a thing as a modern 2CV? Small, light, fuel-efficient, cheap, repearable, with no gadgets. A modern engine would make it even more fuel efficient, and additional securities (ABS, airbags) are nice.
