techies r filth / untouchables of the white world. their there cus their rejected from soceity or autistic. they have no power, they just have lots of knowledge about some tool like C++. theyl never b able 2 leave the office even when workin "remote". theyl never b allowed to make a good product, just the thing the boss wants to satisfy a short flux in demand for some trendy feature

techies dont have real doctors cus they dont have social networks. they get a generic one who doesnt care about his patients, cant be bothered with tediums like to put the epidydis back together in the rite order, etc
techies cant sue, no time
techies cant have romance. they will only be able to have multiple hours to spend with their wife when they are 50 and retired.
techies dont have time 2 learn to eat or cook properly. they will never b athletic or even in average (vs primitive humans) shape, instead they bald at 20
techies cant go out in the day before the festival ends
techies cant actually engineer smth even software, insufficient time allowance
techies who save $10M still live like an average low class suburban car mechanic come home at 6pm and slouch on couch eat junk consume low quality content like utube, tok, counter strike
techies stare at blue light for 12or more hrs/day
techies risk being demoted/deranked if they dont learn the 10th fad technology that does nothing new
techies arent allowed to go out without a phone; they have 2 constantly upload their photo id and mouse movement transcripts on the web
cant hav opsec; camera and mics all over house. cant be at house to ensure against backdoor plant cus hav 2 go in 2 work on calendar in the cloud
techie will have a total of 1000 hours in his entire life goin 2 a few designated tourist locations in the world
hobo techie cant do soykaf, linux takes 70.000 hrs to get gud
techies r dead beings. rob a bank

u don't seem to have a very good grasp of the culture here, which makes sense bcs ur new. a lot of us arent gainfully employed techies lol, many are unemployed, artists, or precarious gig workers trying to make ends meet each month. we have anti tech threads every day and some are from tourists like you but others are baked into the site culture itself. that's kinda the whole point: high tech, low life. some of us just try to be a little bit positive about it, because we care about others and want to see things work out for the better.
as for you, though, you honestly seem lost.. you're complaining about techies being this culture less blob of non-player character status but there's a kind of lack of conviction about it, honestly. what do you even believe in? the most insufferable thing about tech workers is the exact attitude that you seem to have, it's the smug elitism that even though you're participating in the same slop lifestyle as everyone else, you have some kind of narcissistic rationalization that your version is better. it seems very clear from the first things you've brought up - not having a doctor, not having a social network or a lawyer that you have some personal issues you don't seem very secure in, and I'm sorry about that. not having a doctor is like kicking dead whales down the beach, I'm on public healthcare right now and have fortunately been working with a charity organization for healthcare but have had to go without for a while - eventually you do get used to it, but you shouldn't have to, and I'm sorry if that's what you are or were going through.
another thing though. your lack of familiarity with the culture here honestly seems to mirror the culturelessness of the tech bros you seem to hate so much. you complain about generically wealthy yuppies gentrifying everything into a formless slop, while you yourself seemingly enter communities with no care as to the existing culture. you're rebelling against the system by lashing out at everything that looks vaguely like your opponent, after being invited by another tourist who seemingly spends more time on 4chan political board than in a real community of any sort. It's almost endearing, but I honestly think I'm more concerned for you and what those mainstream sorts of social media non-communities do for your social and critical thinking skills. I'm curious actually, have you read any good books lately?

STEM means nvr meeting ppl who matter. also living w/ them. they eat their smelly food at inapropriate times every day 2 say the least. they hav no culture just no the most surface arts etc, nothing good 4 u will ever cum from their prescence. u will not meet a nice fit girl there either. the front door woman is fat and 30. any girl in tech is an autist
hitler wanted 2 kill all autists, to improve his nations productivity, and increase happiness. autists hav a problem called tunnel vision; theyl focus deep on hard on 1 problem long after it no longer matters. this is good 4 companies who want 2 add latest fad feature 2 produc. they just assign an autist 2 do it. the autist then works himself 2 death on this feature that no longer matters nor does anything good 4 the produc. autists r enslaved goblins who can only no misery
i lost my train of floozy but that mostly sums it up
Yamaoto Toshi · 2025-08-08 10:51
rite: u wont maintain any cultural awareness at STEM job. ur coworkers r nerds, they at most no a few movies / artists for the dum 99% maybe fka twigs at best. u wont b able to talk 2 nice girls cus their tastes are above median iq level (requirement for them not being fat).

So... How does lainchan feel about Uncle Ted? Yes, I am a new user tourist. I don't even fully understand the semantics of soykaf yet.
Dujour · 2025-08-08 14:29
autistic techie will nvr hav time 2 no what nominal physical health is. what accepted medical interventions r. no time 2 read thousands of journals. no connections 2 no which r real. no time 2 escape disinfo bubbles. in fact it will see disinfo bubles as truth due to its attraction 2 extreme fringe matters. it will nvr get a proper diagnosis, cus the doc will see it move in a weird autistic way and conflate that as an indacator of the wrong disease

misunderstood but completely mid honestly. he wasn't an anarcho primitivist, he was a reactionary humanist who wanted the government to institute a butlerian jihad. most people who reference him don't seem to have read the guy and it's disappointing to say the least.
we have threads about him sometimes, but they tend not to last very long as there frankly isn't much to discuss.. i think his thing is more of a symptom of the kinds of severities produced by our society than his actual philosophy, which isn't particularly thought through as much as I find his method interesting. though, in terms of eco extremism I'm more interested in linkola, jensen, MOVE or the itttw. all tragic stories on their own way, but something interesting about the tragedy. as for actual ideas I think deep ecology more broadly is interesting.

sounds like u had a specific experience with a (trans?) roommate who didn't take care of their self. unless you're just talking about yourself. honestly I think the problem with tech strivers is less that they live like NEETs and more that they live like NPC wagies, many are into body building lock in culture and attend algorithmically generated gyms etc instead of exploring their community. either way, sorry you had to go through it anon.
the what book have u read recently was sincere btw. just got through beyond good and evil myself. nietszche is alright.

sorry i took the bait and was sincere and whatever. can't shake the feeling, though, that u guys have put more effort into this than I have. it's a shame this is all u have to show for it

He has some useful insights but must be listened with moderation, it's almost impossible to read his book and don't feel offended at least a little, and that level of critique is good for us to reflect about our lives, but shouldn't be taken too seriously or you will go crazy.
