I made a cool vidyo using an old Sony CRT I bought to play SNES games on. https://youtu.be/4c6lWfFXmOc?si=qYpuiBOWLLMlIGnh Show me some cool videos you've made as well. Also, r8, h8, masturb8.

Good editing. What did you use to record this? Was the screen flat or curved? The image feels very "alive" with the way it warps and swims. I've done similar stuff in the past and really appreciated the look. Here's some stills from my most recent horror short. It's about 95% finished. I write, shoot, direct, and edit.

>>46687 That's some nice framing on those. What's the logistics on making short films like that, what's your budget like? The CRT is early 00s I believe, flat screen. Some of the distortion is coming from getting real close to the screen with the camera, especially with the 6mm lens I used in some shots. Combine shooting footage of footage taken with the 6mm lens, using the same 6mm lens, for extra dizziness.

>>47280 The budget in indie is what you can get. I've always worked out of pocket and the most I ever spent on a film was $500. That included actors and everything else. I have no issues with being a one man crew, but for most people that's a miserable experience. If you need a crew, you're either going to be taking on a bunch of students who don't know what they're doing or paying for a professional. A cheap, young audio guy might cost $200 per day. Then you're feeding them and, if they're not from the area, lodging them.
