Translated for non-Spanish speakers, these headlines are telling me that U.S.A. people are living a curfew and that Trump is not a big fan of dissidents. Honestly, from a person who lives in a country that is known for stopping peaceful protests with violence, I send you my most sincere condolences; no human would have to deal with this bullsh*t. I hope with all my heart that everything gets better for you, I am sad that all I can do is send good wishes. Honestly, my perspective on Trump was no different than my opinion of any typical politician (arrogant power-sick fools)... but it seems the lawsuits against him and attempted assassination triggered his villain arc.(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST, You should always elaborate on your opinions rather than just spilling the soykaf.)

He is using the playbook of dictators to try and consolidate power through force. That is Trumps plan now. Create a crisis (he did so by egging on the riots by deploying national guard in LA even though the LAPD and state of California had it under control) This caused even more rioting and enflamed the already bad situation. He wants to try and invoke the insurrection act to create a police state. I fear the worst is still yet to come. Trumps entire presidency is moving the US into an authoritarian quasi fascist dictatorship. Both Mussolini and Hitler used national crisis similar to the riots going on in LA to justify there dictatorship. What you are witnessing could be the end of a democratic America. A dark shadow of evil now enveloping the nation and perhaps the world.

>>46169 It isn't for sure about power as it is money, which is itself a power. He's trying to make himself richer. Why else would he even bother with a cryptocurrency? He's almost definitely doing insider trading too manipulating the stock market but he isnt very good at it which is why he keeps backing off on his own tariffs I also think there has been some sort of deal he did with Modi which is why he pushed the narrative of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for covid before. The Indian guy who wrote the withdrawn paper for that has ties to Modi and the drug is mainly produced in India. He had seemingly met with him shortly before the paper release. If you look at various news sources you can see a clear connection to these seemingly unrelated events.
After Midnight · 2025-06-11 00:56
>>46170 I think it is both power and money to be honest. Yes, definitely inside trading going on, my guess is many of his donor billionaire friends had a hand in that also.

>>46167 >Translated for non-Spanish speakers, these headlines are telling me that U.S.A. people are living a curfew Currently in USA, no curfew in sight > Honestly, from a person who lives in a country that is known for stopping peaceful protests with violence, I send you my most sincere condolences; no human would have to deal with this bullsh*t. Let's be clear: What is happening in LA is our yearly nigger riot. Every year, a bunch of niggers get together and decide to burn a random chunk of a city, or in particularly ambitious years, an ENTIRE city, to the ground. There is always a vague political excuse for this. This is nothing new in america, it happens literally every summer. The only difference is that this year trump has decided to make a political point out of it by sending in natguard to try and reduce the amount of burning. >Honestly, my perspective on Trump was no different than my opinion of any typical politician (arrogant power-sick fools)... but it seems the lawsuits against him and attempted assassination triggered his villain arc. nah afaik he's still just an arrogant power-sick fool. No love for him, but sending natguard to suppress riots and burning != villian arc to me. Now if the natguard starts shooting leftists... we can only hope... > He's trying to make himself richer. Sounds right to me, but the examples you give are the most hamfisted nonsense. Just by being president, he accumulates a hilarious amount of soft power, no need to go doing overt dumb soykaf when he can get richer just by breathing. >which is why he keeps backing off on his own tariffs Declaration of intent to tariff is sufficient to evoke the desired response. Look at the attached picture showing current US trade balance (source: https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/balance-of-trade)- if you can get results like this without full implementation (aka: more short-term economic slowdown), why bother pushing the whole package through. This sort of "information game" appears to be really common in politics today. e.g: Russia altering its strategic use of nuclear options plan to try and deter ukrainian strikes on russia territory (worked for a couple years, but now their bluff has been called)- the intent was never to use nukes against ukraine, but to sow a reasonable suspicion that they COULD be used Since this is now the "bitching about trump" thread, I'll throw in my 2cents: His approach to environmental regulation is the dumbest soykaf I've seen in my short life, and I pray to god he stops smashing everything he can before it is too late. What ever happened to pro-environment conservatives ala roosevelt...

they got 8pm curfew announced in la (heard this today from online friend living there) Its a simple solution to criminalize all protesters so they dont have to proof a crime to jail them Another thing to ponder: during the last decade several sensible protests didn't get televised at all while other smaller ones did. So a protest getting wide media attention is effectively synonym with approved theater.
Void · 2025-06-11 10:41
American here, sounds like the protestors in California are a large group pillaging an American city while marching under foreign banners. That is literally an invasion and its time to send in the army and start shooting people. I am not in California and everything is pretty normal here; no curfew or anything. My only fear is that Trump is too gentle and forgiving, too kind to our enemies. Yes this isn't something particularly new but that doesn't mean its not a festering problem in need of solution. This sort of problem is why DJT was elected, may he solve it swiftly.

>>46185 >Drumpf has been deporting fewer than Byedon Certainly for Obama they screwed up the numbers so that people turned away at the border were listed as deportations, not to mention that there was a huge number of people coming in and being brought in through various bizzare programs like the temporary protected status system who arguably weren't even illegal immigrants but arrived nevertheless. Trump is clearly better if your desire is to reduce the number of foreigners here and its not close. I was just at the border a couple weeks ago and the situation there is clearly more under control than it was over the previous four years. That's not to say I don't wish Trump was doing better, but the least he is doing is kicking the can down the road and that's something. >thanks for admitting that no problimo >>46186 >point of cyberpunk is to oppose the dystopia yes thats why we need the trillions of people removed from the country

>>46176 >"The news" is just a collection of corporations who manipulate your perception of reality for profit. Don't fall for it. Pretty much this. There's some value in reading the news, but news and reality often are two different things. Although granted, Drumpf is also hated by the media as he doesn't play by the "liberal" book, so he's seen as "dangerous". Same soykaf happens in all of europe really. You have politicians which nearly have the same exact views, but some of them don't talk in the "nice" way or doesn't support immigration or is a bit nationalistic, so the liberal media makes them out to be a fascist or whatever name they use nowadays. Not that I don't agree that these politicians are terrible, but the opposition most of the time is the same soykaf, but they use a bit nicer words.

>>46186 I remember reading a think thanks detailed description on possible predictions of the future in 2018 or 17, and it had like 4 possible outcomes 1 is like startrek utopia where authority of state is preserved and even harder enforced but the people don't rebel and it leads to like a "you will own nothing and be happy" ego death society on global scale 2 is like a continuation of current state but global tensions between countries don't let us go into either full dystopia or utopia, just fizzling out essentially 3 is when those tensions between countries riled up and go into global extinction or at least a civilization reset 4 is the like cyberpunk dystopia of corporations taking over and they predicted that 4th one is the most likely and this wasnt like one think thanks effort but like multiple ones so there is no way in hell you're "resisting the dystopia", it will happen

Before automation factories required a lot of people to work them. More factories meant more weapons and other stuff so those who could man more factories will be Great Powers and everyone else will be irrelevant. Thus in 19th and 20th centauries nations competed with each other in breeding more and more people to man all these factories. Then automation came and now the only people on factories are handful of security Guards. That leaves a lot of people with no sources of income. Because of that we have poverty, homeless and other soykaf. Population growth make all that even worse, we have no homes and income for existing people yet some idiots keep making babies. To solve this problem we need something like a plague to dramatically reduce the population and make everything awesome.

From completely outside perspective: It seems that there was some looting, stone throwing and car burning going on. Then in some other stream, there were some soldiers with rifles just chilling and none of that wild thing was happening. So it certainly looks like soldiers are soothing the most extreme behavior with their presence. I don't know what is really happening in LA but this is the optics. But of course there's all kinds of politics and shenanigans going on in the background. >>46169 I wouldn't say fascist, more like plutocracy with some conservative elements.

>>46216 The cars on fire were electric self driving cars owned by Waymo which is a subsidiary of Alphabet / Google. So it's not clear if all of them were actually lit on fire or if some burst into flames on their own from overheating. Assuming they were lit on fire by people there could be many reasons for that ranging from people who work as taxi drivers or Uber / Lyft drivers, people against the presence of unsafe self driving cars, against the presence of a big corporation like Google, or because the cars have cameras all over not wanting to be surveilled or not having any political reason but just wanting to burn soykaf hoping to get away with it among crowds of protesters, or feds are doing it as a false flag as an excuse to invade with the military or whatever other restrictions. Looting is a funny term, it's just shoplifting more brazenly which is something all sorts of people do all the time there even is a thread in /diy/ on shoplifting tips.

>>46229 Yes, I don't get why people don't get that looters aren't political. Sometimes they pretend they are but it's just an attempt to try to prevent people from stopping them by making them think they are on their side. Likewise with things like setting cars on fire in many cases, I mean anyone ever seen a football riot in Europe? They flip cars and light them on fire pr whatever when they lose or win. Then there is the whole thing where feds actually try to egg people on to violence or do it themselves to start something.

>>46167 It seems many people want dictators. Leftists and liberals seem to think that people will just innately oppose the loss of their own power and their constitutional rights in the face of tyranny. This is a mistake. It is the people that are the problem. Many people want a dictator. They want chaos because its an alternative to the Obama-Macron model. What we are seeing is one of the most primal human lusts. Along side the lust for sex and food, there is the primal and unconscious desire for death. "The system doesn't work, let's just tear it down and kill people." >>46216 It looked more like the soldiers had nothing to do and were just milling around. The LA Police did say that they had the protests under control and the soldiers were deployed around some federal buildings that saw minor protests. Now, you can twist this image in two ways: 1. soldiers were never necessary 2. the soldiers are creating calm. >>46232 Feds hire troublemakers and pay them to do retarded things, cause trouble, burn cars, set things on fire etc. many of these people are unwitting pawns. >>46232 Looters may not be political but its one of the first responsibilities of the government to maintain order and prevent among other things looting.
