when i went to the bookstore i saw this guy, and i guess he worked there, couple days later i was heading to school and i swear i saw that guy in a car, now i’m keep seeing that car all the time
i don’t know if i’m just too paranoid because i’ve had “delusions” like this before but i really think someone might be stalking me(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST, You should always elaborate on your opinions rather than just spilling the soykaf.)

I mean if you had to speculate on a reason why would somebody be stalking you?

Imagination creates reality. Or inother words, assumption and believeability. After I watched Lain I started being followed by MiB type vehicles, and likewise, when I though Freemasonry (via the order of the eastern star) were tracking me and trying to wipe my memory (again), indeed, I began to be overtly followed and did several tests which seemed to indicate this was the case.
It's not a matter of perceptual filtering, or cumulative changes in behavior. It's simply that your pattern of attention generates your reality in realtime, and in particular, guides how you days are scripted during sleep.
Something to think about.
Btw 1+41=41. Freemasonry = 42. 1-41= -40, the number of trials, tribulations,a nd initiations. 141 is a key number with some odd properties. And lastly 35 is the gematria of my name. "Serial Experiments Lain" matches my name. (try to brute force that). And the whole show was not only very impactful, but full of themes and numbers that either related to me or rippled way beyond the show itself, for years.

For completeness though, if we interpret 1-41 as "1 to 41" as in the 41st triangular number, you get pic rel. The 711 reference is not surprising, it's 1/2 of 22/7 (pi), the proportions of the pyramid of giza (440x280 cubits) etc.
Triangular numbers and primes are used in Asian media often.

Anyway, I suspect it might be wrong for me to engage with your thread like this, Lain. All I can say is I've been there. No one here can provide the answer you need. It will come from somehere though, in time.

Tequila · 2025-04-18 17:17
If this were the case why have you not tried to gather proof through photograph of this person? It isn't difficult to casually pull out your phone and discretely take a picture.

Negative 40 id not equal to 40 though, it is a non existent thing.

Yeah. It's hard to interpret. Negative numbers sometimes have specific meanings.

Why not? Was it a guy you slept with you're seeing? You at least would want documentation for yourself or anyone close to you, right?
lain · 2025-04-18 18:28
>>45177
i don’t know the guy and i am far too embarrassed to tell anyone irl about it and i don’t wanna be sent to a psych ward becausemy psychiatrist actually thinks i may have schizophrenia

I don't get why it's embarrassing to tell us though. We don't know who you are so you could just say what this is about.
Does it bother you a lot seeing this guy? Have you had something like this before?
Do you have difficulty sleeping at night?
Do you do any drugs recreationally?
Are you on any medication currently?
lain · 2025-04-18 18:52
>>45182
it’s not embarrassing to tell it cuz u guys aren’t normal people
>Does it bother you a lot seeing this guy?
i don’t know it does me very cautious of what i’m doing but thinking that someone’s stalking me out of all people makes me kinda happy
>Have you had something like this before?
yes i’ve thought multiple people i’ve seen before had been stalking me and trying to hurt me or something but i usually got over it in a couple of months
>Do you have difficulty sleeping at night?
not really but i used to
>Do you do any drugs recreationally?
i have some weed time to time but i’m not a full on stoner lole
>Are you on any medication currently?
i’m on prozac and some adhd meds

If you have been diagnosed with schizophrenia or a family history of schizophrenia, please discontinue weed entirely. It will only make delusions worse.

>i don’t know it does me very cautious of what i’m doing but thinking that someone’s stalking me out of all people makes me kinda happy
Being cautious can be good so long as it doesn't mean you can't relax when you want to. I get that feeling of wanting someone to want you.
> yes i’ve thought multiple people i’ve seen before had been stalking me and trying to hurt me or something but i usually got over it in a couple of months
Random people or people you know? Random is probably better than people you know and trust at least because you wouldnt want to have people you care for feel less trustworthy.
> not really but i used to
I see so it isn't just lack of sleep. How long and deep do you sleep and do you have bad dreams?
> i have some weed time to time but i’m not a full on stoner lole
I wouldn't really recommend cannabis. You wouldn't want to feel paranoid. I can understand if you want a way to feel more relaxed but there is other ways.
> i’m on prozac and some adhd meds
Okay this is important info. Were you on the prozac and the ADHD meds the first time you thought people were stalking you? Also which ADHD meds? You're on several? I ask because it's possible this is not schizophrenia but your meds doing this. My mom has hallucinated from Prozac before and it's a known side effect for some people and many ADHD meds increase dopamine effects which also can cause hallucinations and delusions. Do not abruptly stop taking any of your medications though because that can be dangerous or have unwanted side effects to do it without the proper dosage tapering procedure.

ghis is so many questions my brain can’t comprehend allthese questions bur i’ve been experiencing thesethings before i was on these meds i am on now

That's ok. Well certainly your currently medications could be contributing to these experiences. SSRIs like Prozac are overprescribed anyway and there is contradicting evidence to their effectiveness for depression which in reality is a natural reaction to your own experiences. As for your ADHD medication what are you like without it? Do you distract easily unable to focus or is it that your mind is stuck focusing on something you heard or saw others didn't take notice in that was distracting you?
I drink too much milk almost.

itworks but it makes me not eat
also my psychiatrist said that it’s not the medication that’s causing this like a couple weeks ago i should’ve mentioned that too
Koichiro · 2025-04-20 11:17

A little late on replying since I've been busy. Maybe not causing but it can potentially make things worse. A lot of psychiatrists have a flawed view of the world where they think everything is on the patient not society and living conditions as part of things. If you don't lead a very satisfying life of course you would be depressed and they take too much faith in unproven theories like the seretonin theory of depression.

Or is the Prozac for anxiety rather than depression? As for the ADHD meds there is alternatives like modafinil. Sometimes you have to outright show them studies.
Modafinil for ADHD
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2654790/
Modafinil for schizophrenia
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6906203/
Not that I am saying you necessarily have schizophrenia, if it is shorter duration then it could be schizophreniform which means more likely it would just fade off once stabilized or even might not be other reasons, like have you had any major head injuries or are you very near sighted?
milk · 2025-04-20 13:01

idk i rlly trust my psychiatrist tho she has really helped and the prozac had helped a lot (it was for anxiety AND depression) i used to be scared just to talk to people but now i have a whole group of frens now
also yes i’m very near sided but i see things even when i have my glasses on

It is likely your own experiences building up and your own efforts not meds alone helping so you should give yourself credit too.
