Elliot Alderson · 2025-01-30 01:10
Joy is an utter illusion of the brain, might give in and try heroin, idk why but that always appealed to me
Nguoi La · 2025-01-31 01:17
gmorning lainchan, the past few days I did NOT complete my goals. but i did make my friends laugh instead.
my plan for tomorrow is... after a snack, i will finally finish this thing.
>>44015
>What's the project?
it's a surprise, but you will be happier when its completed.

I created joy today by being receptive and grateful for the Tiniest, Tinyest, Tittle. Because Tiniest, Tinyest, Tittle, is also the Heaviest and Heartiest Continuum. The joy was always there, its just at a stop sign, waiting for you to come and score.
Tomorrow I will work with the gifts I have been given, and be grateful to do so.

Do not advise combining amphetamines and psychedelics, especially not DMT. DMT is one of those ones thats best done alone without anything else. Otherwise extremely blessed post.
>>44028
Yes, and just like heroin, God gave us that illusion because of its ability to help evolve our consciousness. Where you planning to get Heroin? If your in the states your soykaf outta luck lest your gonna go to the Onion Fields. Watch out anon, junk scene is unspeakably nasty these days.
T. 10 year opiate addict (everything from shooting street fentalogs to kratom)

>>44028
what >>44044 said, even if u use dark web then heroin is gonna be cut to soykaf with random additives typically including fentanyl, but could also wind up with xylazine or worse.
>>44044
damn u shot kratom? sounds awful..
Frank Garza · 2025-01-31 10:17
>>44045
Thats why you gotta test it and get one thats been highly reviewed by people who did test it also. And nowadays you cant just test it for fents because its got any number of random things in it so you gotta test it for as much as you possibly can, even then a lot of stuff is untestable like certain nitazines and such I believe they still have not come out with home test kits for that, if they have im ignorant of it because im almost 3 years clean, thank God for Ibogaine. And no I did not shoot kratom, that would kill you even if it was pure alkaloids probably cause they are toxic to shoot kinda like codeine if I recall correctly, I mean I shot street fent and obviously drank kratom in a drink.
Nothing like being clean in one day after a decade of addiction.
>Legalize Ibogaine
Neo · 2025-01-31 11:15
today i unloaded the dishwasher. tomorrow, i plan to buy groceries.
>>44046
oh yea lol i figured it would be impossible
>nitazines
ive been researching what reagents can detect xylazine already so i added nitazenes to my investigation, heres some results:
https://protestkit.eu/drugspro/?search=nitazene
https://drugsdata.org/search.php?search_field=&name=&field_test=&substance1=2319&substance2=-2&s=&sample_id=&color=&colorexact=0&city=&source=&m1=&y1=&m2=&y2=&state=&country=&sold_as_ecstasy=both&on_hold=both&sort=DatePublishedU&sortad=desc
https://www.btnx.com/product/nitazene-test-strips-ntz-18s26
it seems like you need the test strips to identify nitazenes, and shipping them to US is a problem. they're giving them away free in UK though, apparently.

Well good to know such things exist, test kits of all kinds definitely save lives. Are you already strung out? In my honest opinion any opi is not worth messing with unless your already extremely physically addicted.

the life of an alcoholic is a simple one. want joy? drink.
Haruyoshi · 2025-01-31 22:22
when i want to create joy i banish all negativity from my brain, and give my full attention to small things like making a cup of coffee, cleaning up, or exercising a little bit. then i occupy myself with writing music on my guitar, or learning to play a chord-melody of some song i like, or improving my collection of books. once in a great while i spontaneously get a really good feeling, and an involuntary smile appears on my face.

Drinking makes weak minds weaker. Never became an alcoholic but after having at least 1 drink a day for 90% of the past 2+ years im two months completely alcohol free now. Never looking back. Shit is liquid wet-brain.

soon the joy will turn into the relief of just avoiding withdrawal, and that is not really joy at all
Crash Override · 2025-02-02 11:59
The physical effects of drinking alcohol are definitely cumulative and negative. Some people I know who drink regularly slur their words even when sober, but they don't seem to notice it themselves. They're tiresome and unpleasant to be around when they're drinking, and sometimes do really sick things, even when kids are around. And it destroys your live.
Rick Deckard · 2025-02-04 15:21

Checked. Quit drinking full on two months ago because I was sick of being around it. Drunks are worse than junkies to be around. Once they get older it just becomes intolerable. Alcohol is the worst commonly used drug, by far.
I created joy today by not drinking and by not being around anyone doing so.

ive always had trouble with neuroticism and related mood swings. its especially bad with my roommates. walking through crowds i often feel paranoid and resentful. in such moments it seems the best i can do to foster joyfulness is to be aware in some way and let others be themselves.
im wanting to feel more compassionate in general so i sought some insight from buddhism this morning:
"Just as the radiance of all the stars does not equal one-sixteenth of the radiance of the moon, as the moon — surpassing them — shines, blazes, & dazzles, even so, all the grounds for making merit leading to [wisdom/awareness/liberation] do not equal one-sixteenth of the awareness-release through good will. Good will — surpassing them — shines, blazes, & dazzles."

>Drunks are worse than junkies to be around. Once they get older it just becomes intolerable. Alcohol is the worst commonly used drug, by far.
Not long ago i had to ghost my oldest friend because of this.
He was doing ok for a while then he went totally bonkers and trashed his place talking total nonsense, i dont mean just the usual alcoholic sludgness talk but actualy schizophrenic psychosis.
There was a little more to the story i dont want to get into but i had conclude i have to cut all ties with this person and the circle because they are too unstable and unreliable/untrust worth to the point of being a danger to themselfs and others.
Can confirm the junkie being better than alcohlic part too, alcoholics are some of the most violent and obnoxious drug users in my experience.
There is something really horrible at work behind this drug, its hard to pin a tail on it but something is very wrong with you when you drink regularly.

alcohol kills brain cells. Its simple as that.
That said "worst drug" is pure bs since other drugs do same more effective. Its probably worst social impact though since retards normalized abusing alcohol compared to meth/krokodil/etc.

The person who introduced me to lain has this exact attitude. I can say from extensive experience that this is pure poison for the soul, on a deep level. It will prevent you from having any confidence in front of others or from having any warm heartedness towards others, especially when they are strangers. You need to make it a pet project to 180 on this by praying for others and being glad that they exist in an active mindfulness. If you do not take my advice and get out of this state of mind I promise you you will become miserable due to lack of deep connections. Also consider that your feelings towards others in this way are an expression for how you feel unconsciously about parts of yourself you just do not understand yet.
>>44107
Not that much different than my exact experience. My friend who introduced me to this site is such an alcoholic and junkie has been living in a veritable soykafhole covered in garbage for a room for years and is always too drunk and high to clean it up. There are miku dolls with layers of dust so thick on them and unironically piss bottles everywhere. This is when "Meme your dreams" becomes a nightmare anon, never look back, never be around that type of soykaf or you will be exposing yourself to deep misery.
>>44108
Its the worst in terms of natural or semi-natural drugs that I know of in a literal sense. Maybe its not worse than some psycho insanity robot drug that they cook up in a lab, but its worse than anything else even remotely natural, including poppy and coca, its far far worse.
Armitage · 2025-02-08 07:56

no i agree that its poisonous. i have a tendency to overstate -- i dont think its done a huge amount of harm in my life. rather its something i fixate on and occasionally causes friction, particularly with those close to me. im okay at putting on the mask for strangers / can be affable, joke around, at worst appear aloof or strange. a couple of years ago id be shocked to know i was looking up buddhist text to try and remedy antisocial tendencies but its in the spirit you encourage. its a deep and toxic problem and needs pragmatism that challenges my self identity. i want to try a compassion meditation more thoroughly since zazen seems to be mercurial and vague to such ends (though not unhelpful). on an intellectual level i know i should embody it and that "people" are useless to fret over. yet sometimes the emotional baggage just overtakes me. maybe ill try an antidepressant this year :/

"tendency to overstate" is a problem for both. i know 2 people, maybe 3, who had a tendency to make these sorts of errors in judgment who were also heavy opiate abusers. while some might have treated them as impulsive and manipulative narcissists, they're also dead.
>>44135
not every day gets to be sunshine, and it's not your responsibility to make other's happy. there's always tomorrow, anyway.
