Where can I get a lot of information about lain? I am working on a project and I need things like the specific history of the show (e.g right now I am trying to find out how the show got onto Air Tokyo). I am okay with having to translate japanese websites btw. And yes I do already know about https://www.cjas.org/~leng/

>>43904 the anime or the game lol

>>43905 Lol I meant moreso the details behind it. Particularly the history of the show itself, interviews with the creators, things like that

lain wiki might have some information. it could help by expanding it https://lain.wiki/wiki/Main_Page

>>43904 When you say information about Lain, what do you mean ? The show ? The making of the show ? The making of the artbooks ? The making of the playstation game ? Some interviews with the creators were included in the box set of the dvd. They are avaliable on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXyHmxAU9_I and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1mM38Hev0s. See also https://lain.wiki/wiki/Interviews as well as https://web.archive.org/web/20100619053018/http://homepage.mac.com/abworks/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXNsoUix1kehZdBGwuM20pw and https://youtu.be/VbadywNSKTs and https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interview/2005-04-03/yoshitoshi-abe-yasuyuki-ueda and http://www.konaka.com/alice6/lain/index.shtml See also https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_experiments_lain and the refences section. For the video game see https://sabukaru.online/articles/serial-experiments-lain-the-video-game-how-a-visionary-game-got-lost-in-time and https://web.archive.org/web/20101226100424/http://blog.geneon-ent.co.jp/graphid/ for Ueda's Lain blog. If you can be more specific about what you are looking for, I can provide additional sources or notes if it overlaps with the analysis of Serial experiment Lain I did for the LainOS project.
