I don't get it, if you want people to text you, why not just make a matrix account or something like that?

Why was your first thought your phone number specifically?

I do not own any other means of communication

I just had this cool brazilian guy text me because of this post (and i have been having this full on conversation with a guy who found me because i posted my number on 4chan). People said this was a bad idea but honestly this is the most fun i have had in a very long time. Even if someone tracked me down and killed me somehow because i posted my phone number i would hesitate to say it wasn't worth it.
Its hard being a neet.

Not a neet but talking to people fuarrrks my dopamine up so when they inevitably leave I long for a new person for a very long time
I just talk to myself these days and I don't feel the need for human interaction, I don't think I've had a proper conversation in 2 years so far
Leto Atreides I · 2024-12-18 05:35
it's not his phone number. he just wants you to annoy the person whose phone number he posted.

I don't think livechat is an ideal form of long distance communication. Something like letterwriting or the equivalent in email is ideal. Proper and well formed paragraphs, no psuedo-body language in the form of those stupid 'typing' statuses, and of course ample time to take breaks without ruining the connection.
