I'm in a deep depressive spiral
I have burnt 100k on nothing but my self hatred and lack of confidence
It used to be my refuge to be among the outcasts, the men who sleep, the underground man, etc.
I miss int and lit

I'm not the biggest lurker but in two years i haven't found anything worth it on clearnet besides this imageboard because everything else is mostly dead or super slow.
4ch is extra kucked with cloudflare, 8moe is most probably a honeypot after the 8chan incident, endchan has like 2 active russian boards, zzzchan has a /v/ board but also slow. Wizchan maybe?
Russia has a lot of imageboards and active boards around still, Japan too. It seems like the west world just moved into walled off ecosystems a la facebook permanently while the east world still has some early 2000s culture and imo the usage of fuarrrking frameworks shiIIed by big corpo (which is mostly western) is one of the biggest reasons and also why when normal people see an unbloated simple website they physically repulse or think it's hackers. Also thanks reddit for the death and centralization of forums.

lainchanners (16 y/o's (op) gently dotted in with irc fossils) objectively aren't deserving of better imageboards. nonetheless, all social media is a poor representation and drop-in replacement of real life community which modernity, and at it's most axiomatic level, hierarchy, fundamentally alienates us all from. touch grass is too dismissive, just wake up you inversed normal users. fuarrrk you all

what's with turning modernity into an scapegoat while ignoring millennia of historic proof showing dumb nerds were always alienated in their communities?
your willingness to touch grass won't make the braindead fuarrrking normals that by natural rule surround you any less hostile to everything you are but the internet is mainstream now so they all bleed over and corrode your online life instead

that really, there is a need to go off-grid. I started to grow into imageboards, mainly by running around them and now i wish there would be a more established variety with their own set of subculture. its perfect between a forum and a chat
