Not to sound like a cheesey therapist or anything, but the outdoors can really boost your mood. Go camping or hiking, or even just a quick 5 minute walk outside makes me feel better if I'm feeling like garbage. I've also tried to rely less on technology too, still working on it but it feels nice to be disconnected from the world and connected to my own thoughts for once.

But how?

That seems a good idea. I live in a hyper-urbanized area, so it's quite hard for me to go on a walk undisturbed, there's so many people and noises. But I'll try nonetheless, who knows.
Regarding technology, being less reliant on it feels incredible. I'm still working on it too, as all my life I've been kind of an addict. But just being by yourself, undisturbed by constant stimuli feels great.
Best of luck with your endeavours!

Study Buddhism or Taoism (the actual stuff not new age bullshit). Cut out sources of information that overwhelm you. Recognize negative thought patterns and guard against them. Don't consume media that feed you negative emotions or hang out on places filled with hateful misanthropes or hard asses. Learn from small children or animals. They'll teach you patience.

begin by sitting up straight and actually breathing correctly, no more shallow breathing. After a week of doing that you'll notice a difference in how you respond to what the world throws at you.
