What's the story of systemspace.link? I've only heard about it from disgruntled ex-members and clickbaiting youtubers, s o I don't really have any reliable info about it. If anybody had any interesting info about the tsuki project, i'd be very appreciative.

I was heavily involved in the community when it first started and coined the term "migrant".
It was just a larping soykafshow by some Danish dude who actually thought this was all real. fuarrrker tried to hack some people, got exposed, and then later on one of his butt buddies started to impersonate him and take over and wanted crypto donations and soykaf.
Stupid from the start.

I will admit the original site was cool as fuarrrk. Tsuki had some web design skills but was fraught with mental illness.
Here are some screenshots of stupid crap that happened. I tried to keep the community discord under my rule because Tsuki was pretty suspicious (but I was also a powerhungry 15 year old). We had a mod named NYPHVR who went psycho after we demoted him for abuse and then he posted his literal microdick in chat.
If any old users are here, I was SIX10/James

i remember finding a "systemspace discord meme pack" somewhere filled with nazi stuff and pretty bad memes
but it was just a larp tryna make people believe they're gonna get a second chance at life. then the owner pretended to kill himself like twice or some soykaf to either attract attention or pretend he's gone to not deal with the bs he created
they had a nice looking website tho

In the article I traced it to April 2017. Was it earlier?
Cat Mother · 2024-08-23 19:36
Website was nice, discovered when browsing random links on fresh onion. Was impressed.
After digging a bit, just another edgy cult looking crappy place.
But I will always remember the first time (that music was nice) I stumble on the site (I was not aware of SEL at this time) and how it introduced me to this show and drove me later to discover lainchan.

I was there, my nickname at the time was Unterminator. I pretty much the first that got the idea to record everything Tsuki said in Discord in a giant, disorganized .txt file, and Yari took it from there and made the "compendium". At the time, I was mostly impressed by Tsuki's webdev abilities, and thought all the lore he came up with was cool. I never believed the thing for one second. I was very early, I think (either number 30 or 130 or so, I forget which) but left early as soon as some drama started.
I don't think I have any interesting information that is not already known or at least recorded somewhere... I remember some people wanted to make a video game about systemspace, I don't think it got very far but I sometimes think about making it myself. Alas, I'm an adult now and have other responsibilities.
It left quite the mark on me, I was underage at the time and had just discovered Lain through /r9k/... I had never posted anything on any site ever, as I was VERY shy, so it was good to make me break out my shell.it was a pretty fun experience. It made me discover programming, free software, and me quite obsessed with Lain lol.
I could also attribute it to me being mentally ill but I think that's just correlation, not causation.
If anyone even remembers me from that time, I'm sorry if I was rude or just wasn't nice. Hope you're having a great life.

I wasn't there there but I remember watching from the sidelines. I may be confusing soykaf tho, since a lot of stuff happened at that time, so if I missremember something or if I'm talkin soykaf, just let me know pls.
Tsuki was a literal schizo who made a plan to trascend to the internet, aka the systemspace. He had a set date for this and asked everyone who wanted to ascend with him to sign a paper and send a picture of it to him. The thing was that in order to get to systemspace you'd have to flatline yourself on the set date. This was all triggered by his schizophrenia, cause he had this narrative that there was another world of people that lived in his mind, and these people fed themselves on the planet's energy, but every person that ever existed had consumed a bit of the planet's energy, and said energy was running low. However, since the systemspace didn't have this problem, it was his mission to kill himself and take as much people as he could with him in order to free planet energy and help his imaginary friends survive.
It was a really, really sad sad story, cause the guy was brilliant, but he stated on discord mutiple times that he was seeing his friends die because of the lack of energy, and needed to save as many as he could, cause they were the only company that he ever had.
Mental health is a real thing, please take care of yourselves guys.

The website his girlfriend made was pretty swag: https://web.archive.org/web/20250123195107/https://kikyou.space/pages/home.php. Unfortunate she never completed it due to her suicide.
