Which Linux distro I should move on?
I'm planning to switch from Ubuntu to Arch or Void.
Your own recommendations?

>just need system to work
Ubuntu/Mint
>have time to customize and fixes
Arch or Void

Maybe you should just move to Mint for a while, learn a bit more about how the system works and then move to Debian.
Worked for me.

I can second this guy >>41949 and this guy's opinions >>41951.
Mint is really solid, but it's nostly just out-of-the-box stuff. If you're a real techie, jump to arch or debian. Debian sounds pretty cool in my book.
Im a mint user btw.

Debian Stable if you know what you're doing.
Mint if you don't.
I haven't ever used arch before but they the arch wiki is nice there's a lot of ready-to-go packages available between the AUR and official repo
If you have to ask you probably shouldn't be using void.

Wrong on both counts, i.e, not OP, and not butthurt. Now please go kys and stop acting like a moron in public. Retarded 12yo edge lords like you have been soykafting up Lainchan a lot lately, so I assume there must have been a lot of bans elsewhere for you to show up here. So just do everyone a favor and stfu, ok? ;)

Use Artix instead of Void
010101
Emmanuel · 2024-07-28 20:51
Linux Mint LMDE -> Debian, Arch -> Devuan, Artix, Gentoo, BSD, etc
fsociety · 2024-07-28 22:35
stop distrohopping. learn to use your current distro. they are all mostly same. stop wasting your precious time on this God forsaken plane.
John Rain · 2024-07-28 22:36
if you have the free time, do arch.
Bob Arctor · 2024-07-29 00:54
Of the two, I'd go with Void because it doesn't have systemd, and because the people I've run into who used Arch were assholes. Nothing wrong with Arch as a Linux distro, though. And the Arch Wiki is great.

This. Just stick to Debian. Its stable. It works. It runs all the necessary things. The whole Linux ecosystem is a soykaf show.
