I remember being hugged twice by girls, when I was 12 and 14. But this isn't really important because it seems that hugging is fairly common in my country, especially among low-middle class people. Never held hands with a girl though, that's definitely more romantic than kissing here.

This is good advice. I've read that in a book on becoming more intelligent, actually. Do you have any advice on how to make chad friends. I'm acquaintance with three chads but I'm too afraid to befriend them. Do you have any tips?
Zero Cool · 2024-06-27 19:22
>>41559
>Do you have any advice on how to make chad friends.
The first step is to have chad hobbies.
Now If by chad friends you mean the frat boy party types, that is really easy. They are simple creatures, motivated only by booze, pucci, and showing off. You can find them at bars, clubs, sporting events, and generally big party type locations. You need to act like them to establish rapport, that means dressing, joking, and generally behaving like them. Doing so will probably leave you disgusted in yourself though, so proceed with caution. A quick way is to confidently make a fool of yourself, become the fakest of people.
If, by mean chad you mean self confident people, you need to find something that you are passionate about and that you find meaning in. It is important to contemplate the nature of the things that you want or enjoy, by doing this you can figure out the kind of people you actually want to associate with. Some examples would be people you can talk to about your niche interests like obscure martial arts, table top games, fish tanks, or HAM radio, then you are better off going to conventions, expos, educational meet ups, or hobby shops and groups and talking to people who are already in the field. You don't even need to be interested in anything to go in and talk to people in the field, and you might even find something you like.
I guarantee you, the latter group has a great deal more sense of fulfillment, and they will be more than happy to share their hobbies and territory with newcomers, unlike the dudebro chads who are constantly trying to out peacock each other to impress women.
As a bonus, many hobby groups have either mixed demographics, or you can join ones with a specific demographic (like mostly women). You might make some friends who have children your age.
A coworker of mine met his wife because he used to frequent a gun range, and made friends with one of the old guys there, then they started hanging out, and he met the guys daughter and they became friends and then started dating.

Not in my experience. You can also do it by being funny, being good at holding your liquor, and doing their homework for them.

You can cheat on liquor. Just take DHM (dihydromyricetin) + glycine + NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) and make sure you have some fiber in your stomach. DHM helps metabolism of alcohol and GlyNAC helps produce glutathione which helps with offsetting a small amount of alcohol's negative effects. But id advise against stupid drinking games, alcohol is a hard drug potentially as dangerous if not more than heroin plus ages you so does excess sugar age you.

Nigga, motorcycle clubs are literally people with motorcycles riding around and being autistic about motorcycles together. A lot of them meet up weekly. You can probably go to motorcycle meetups and ask around if anyone is selling one or knows where you can get a cheap one to start off with. They can be pretty cheap just to get one to ride with the boys.
Running groups are a thing, and many places have manga reading circles. You can also do things that incorporate all of your activities but are not specifically based around the one thing you like. Take for example asian cultural clubs. They put on events like cultural festivals and celebrate holidays, but when they aren't, you can make friends with real life asians who also like manga and anime.
If you just want to play vidya and stuff, you could probably even volunteer at recreational centers for kids who's parents aren't around. That's where the classic meme of volunteer places to make friends and meet people comes from.

Dude, look. I'm an old man. Let me give you some advice.
Save up a little money. Go out to the red light district in your town. Look for a whore with a nice, sympathetic temperament who will be nice to you. Go and have sex with her. Use a condom so you don't get vd. Have a good time, then go home. Then you will have a little bit of experience. You won't obsess over being a virgin. You won't feel as nervous around girls. If you liked the whore, go see her again sometime. Believe it or not, not all of them are drug-addled bitches. Maybe just sit and talk with her and get some advice about getting a girlfriend, what girls like, whatever.
At any rate, good luck. You'll be ok.

sitting online complaining does not do much to fix things. that is not to say that youre "cringe" or "a loser" for that, but dont *just* do that. find something to do outside. go for a run or do a sport, go to a library regularly, book club, take up volunteering somewhere, something like that. it doesn't have to be with another person you know, but just being active like that will help you feel a bit more confident outside and around others, and you may start meeting other people related to what you do and connect with them over a mutual interest.

I used to deal with the public in my job, so I had this whole routine built up where I could pretend to be normal and social. I even managed to have a "sort of" friend once in a great while. But if there was a group of people being social, I was in a nightmare. I hope you can find some way to overcome it so you don't wind up like me. Socializing is a learnt skill. Just because your socially inept now does not mean you have to be socially inept in the future. Try and force yourself to socialize more. It doesn't have to be to much starting out, just baby steps. Try and find something local pertaining to your interests and start from there. People are nicer than you think.

>1. Don't think about it too much.
The reason you went from tfw no gf to doomeristic is because you think too much about it. Just relax. You're young.
>2. Being doomeristic about that is like shooting yourself in the foot.
If you think it's already over, then yes, it will be over before you start your year at Uni. You are your worst enemy.
Best advice I can give you about Uni: Clear your head, don't label yourself as a loser, and try to go talk to people in the first few weeks. Chances are, people will come talk to you themselves.
When people start Uni, most are as lost as you. Friendless. They crave finding their place and group. If you go and just casually talk to people, even if it's just by asking questions about class-related things, you will most likely end up getting friends. That's as simple as that.
I posted here on Lainchan last year about me, a late-20s lonely guy, going back to Uni because 'fuarrrk it'. I had the same fear as you. Guess what? I talked to people. People talked to me. I ended up having a few friends. I'm around the same girl 12hr a day every day, as a friend (I'm already in a relationship). And I started with a way heavier handicap as you: I'm way older than people attending my classes.
So just chill Anon. Small talk can go a long way.
>3. Talking from experience, you are at one of the most difficult period of your life. It will get better.
If you stop thinking it's totally over for you, trust me, it will get better. You are being dramatic and it's normal at your age.
I remember being 18 and suicidal. It's too easy at that age to think it's over. It's not.
>4. Everything is my parents' fault.
Maybe it's true, maybe you are trying to reassure yourself by saying that, I don't know.
The only thing you should focus on is how, if it's true or not, you are going to change things.
Again, small talk can go a long way. Not thinking about it too much too. (By "it" I mean having sx, kissing a girl, and making friends at all cost. People become weird when they think about it too much. Just be yourself. I know it sounds cheesy but it's true.)
>5. Everyone here hopes you will be better next year :)
And I hope the same thing for everyone reading this in the same situation as you.

Class of 22? Are you in a special rich prep school?
You'll open up in college. Just don't be an engineering major.

Focus on learning stuff, getting an education and/or a job, or improve some aspect of your life like fix something around the house, build a home server or something. You'll get smarter and more confident.
Approach life with humor and remember that the desire to get a partner will get you nowhere (or just a girl who desires the same thing which you don't want, trust me). Focus on improving your life and being on normal terms with others (don't be taken advantage of, though).
Don't stay up late without a reason, i.e. reading a book or working on a project of yours. Don't just lie there and scroll that bs online, you'll feel awful. If you feel like you just don't have anything to do and you can't sleep, have some GABA tea or coffee and go find something to occupy yourself with.
And remember--have fun. Follow the recs in this thread and you'll be alright.

Every once in a great while I manage to get up off my sorry, self-pitying ass and do something for myself. Then for a while I can say, "I did that" and it makes me feel better for a while. If I'm lucky I even get a momentary unexpected little rush of joy from it that makes me smile. Rinse and repeat.
