With increasing involvement of western countries in the war against Russia, some say that we're living at the most critical moment since the cuba missile crisis. What is the lainons take on the current situation? Is an apocalyptical nuclear war likely? How do you feel about the current situation?(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST, You should always elaborate on your opinions rather than just spilling the soykaf.)
Sipho Nkosi · 2024-05-07 21:27
Cuban missile crisis was a direct reaction to hostilities by the US against the USSR by having military bases in Turkey with missiles ready to attack causing the Soviet Union to set up in Cuba to defend themselves from attack with equal threat. Current situation is more complicated than that which is brought on by a long history between the US and Russia. That's before you even throw in Ukraine into the mix which has it's own history going on with Russia. Part of Ukraine previously was part of Russia and was just handed over to them without asking anyone. Ukraine's government started soykafting on Russian speaking residents and there also were Ultra Nationalist Neo Nazis there like Azov which brought on clear antagonism against Russia. The whole thing is just one big proxy war. Russia isn't really gaining ground so likely it will eventually back out of this conflict. Only big event I could see possibly happening is someone offing Putin.

>>40631 >Russia occupied on all fronts getting BTFO by low cost ukranian hardware and high cost free western tech (A 5k euro drone can take out a 50 million ruble warship) >China economic collapse slowly happebing (consumer goods price down while food and energy prices rising because of state planning failures) >North Korea still in poor country state (they might get balsy and pull people into conflict) >Europe energy crisis and immigrant crisis ongoing/not enough people in military thinking about bringing back the draft >American immigrant crisis ongoing, tied to south American and African/Middle East socioeconomic collapses >Iran trolling everyone, but their economy has been soykaf for decades so at most they could launch a guerilla war causing a fuarrrkton of damage before getting wiped off the face of the earth. The real problem is that everyone has alliances, and nobody knows if those would be honored if a small conflict escalates. Unless some dictator is enough of a mad lad to try to launch an attack for fun, everyone is too economically fuarrrked to sustain war.
Drifter · 2024-05-08 06:12
>The real problem is that everyone has alliances, Aren't those alliances what turned wars into world wars historically? But yeah, a world war would stop fast since everyone would just starve.

What people don't realize that we're already at war. You know that saying, "war never changes?" Well its wrong. War has changed. In the nuclear age, it became impossible for states to wage wars directly. So now they wage them indirectly. War is no longer constrained to the battlefield. US strategists and planners talk about the "information space" (internet) or the global economy as part of the "battlespace." We are already living in a world where states wage war on each other through economic sanctions, cyberattacks, manipulation of social media, assassinations, drone strikes, and industrial sabotage. The US still continues its world war on terrorism (which Bush declared WW3 back in 2001) adding new enemies to the list like the Houthis in Yemen. A good example of post-modern unrestricted warfare came during the pandemic. The US Pentagon's psychological warfare experts decided to strike at the Chinese. Beijing was offering their Sinovac vaccines to poorer countries practically for free. This was a problem for America's Pfizer corporation. Washington had encouraged them to basically extort poorer countries and charge them the highest possible prices for vaccines. Sinovac threatened to undercut this lucrative extortion and it would also bolster China's standing globally. The Pentagon called upon its psyops people to create thousands of bot accounts to spam anti-vaxxer messaging across the world to encourage people not to take Chinese and presumably European vaccines and establish market dominance for Pfizer. But the operation backfired. People exposed to anti-vaxxer messaging also refused to take Pfizer's vaccines. The Biden administration continued this policy until it was clear that the anti-vaxxers had become a threat inside America. Like WW2, the aim is to hit at the industrial base of a foreign country's economy, except now we're doing it with bots, paid glowniggers and useful idiots, influencer drivel etc. instead of B-29s and carpet bombing.

Those bastards doing the "peace talks". withour russia, flew almost right over my house. I coulda gotten one of them if had some AA missiles or a flak and ended things a quick way. What went on is the tip of western arrogance, that will be the fail and fall of the west, utter arrogance in its leaders and their npc followers. People have talked so much soykaf from their media and so willingly and knowingly obeyed their globalist tyrants that i am more than glad this happens. My only hope is the world will be reduced down to rubble and ash, more importantly all that scum with big mouths obeying their governments should be exterminated. Im not saying putin is all that much better, but the western powers and its "citizens"(pigs) should get the war they wanted and they should have it right on their doorstep since they all paid for it and screamed for it. Its a good thing puting said switzerland is not neutral, he is totally right about that, i hope the russians will show no mercy to their enemies and treat the western scum like they deserve and asked for. Cry woe, let loose the dogs of war!

>some say that we're living at the most critical moment who says that? cable news television anchors who get paid $30,000 / day to repeat CIA talking points, propaganda spreaders, i'm guessing, based on how that is worded.

please happen wwiii i hate modern life and it's too expensive to escape it
The Oracle · 2024-06-19 12:48
this starts to come off as a pattern. bots or glowies hired to shi- promote this idea of world war with the only argument being "i'm a whiny bitch please come kill me 'cause i can't do it myself". now indulge me with your talk about internet having safe havens anymore

>>41416 Its getting pushed by yt news and i dont even click to watch those videos. Judging by headlines nato is prepping for a conflict and russia got china on board. Maybe you will be fine maybe they will actually start a massive large scale conflict. Its not like we will know what they plan in their secret rooms.
Molly Millions · 2024-06-19 16:26
>>41410 No. I made the thread, and I am human. >>41404 Interesting. I had thought before that the anti vaxer phenomenon wasn't normal, but I hadn't thought of it under that perspective.

>>41422 his take makes sense but im certain its not just that because press started concern trolling about anti haters way earlier, it started after swine flu where they made massive losses due unused charges because people said no and then they got slammed again with lawsuits because there were 2 variants and they gave cheap dangerous one to kids on public health care which caused narcolepsy while politicians&army got good version. They fixed this loss with cov as they made it mandatory and lawsuits forbidden which naturally also required to kill dissident voices under their new antis are dumb haters propaganda.

I would welcome it. Humanity definitely needs a reset. Even if I die in the process it would be worth it.

Depends on how US elections go. You can either vote for the "don't change anything" party who would prefer every war to enter a stalemate, or you can vote for the "stupid monkey" party and make some chaos happen. As it stands the US is the only thing keeping Israel from going sicko mode on about 1 million Palestinians and our arms industry is basically keeping Kiev standing and Taiwan independent.
Wintermute · 2024-06-20 02:11
>>41426 >US is the only thing keeping Israel from going sicko mode hilarious statement when all their toys come from us donations

I doubt there will ever be full blown nuclear armistice, but I could see a few conflicts occurring in the near future. Right now it's looking like there will definitely be an invasion of Taiwan in the near future. It could be this year, or it might happen next year, or later. We'll know when it's going to happen, like people could know when the Ukraine invasion was about to kick off, there's always tell-tale signs, like the stockpiling of munitions, medical supplies, vehicles, and the mass-movement of these things to a frontline. For Taiwan, it all comes down to the weather conditions, China can really only invade Taiwan at some point during mid/late spring to early/mid summer. Typhoon season is typically at its worst from August to September making it an unlikely time for an invasion. They've had time to invade for weeks now and haven't so they probably won't do it this year. They are gearing up to invade though, they have been gearing up for years, each military exercise they conduct is always larger than the previous, because they're building their strength for when they seize Taiwan. If you see China rapidly deploying tons of naval vessels, moving lots of forces to the coast, elites and corporations fleeing Taiwan, submarine cables being cut, there's probably an imminent invasion. There's almost certainly going to be an eruption of war in Arabia in the coming years. The existence of Israel makes this a certainty, the scope of their expansionist policy has grown over decades to demand the "retrieval" of land in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and even Turkey, and their government has shown intentions of seizing their supposed birthright lands in the future. Also basically every American White House Cabinet has desired war with Iran for years now, and Iran is becoming more bold with the moves they've been making around Arabia, then there was the assassination of their prime minister. Now the Houthis have made moves against America, but that doesn't mean America will wage war against Yemen, for now. It's basically impossible to predict an exact date for a war without any indicators of invasions, but you can assume a war will happen eventually due to the political situation. I aim to steer clear of participation in any wars, as I cannot forsee any possible war that could appear justified and worth participating in.

>>41426 an interesting take. Incidentally US weapons are also a big part of why Chinese Communism won and all the other guys went to Formosa.
SHODAN · 2024-06-21 10:55
>>41426 it is amusing to see how american propaganda turns everything on it's head so that people say, as if it were a fact, the exact opposite of the truth.

>>40633 ill have you know parts of the U.S was used to belong to the U.K and was illegitimately taken from them! there is only one solution: the final solution. now i wanna talk about the ottoman empire, but first i need to dispel the idea that "russia" even exists as it simply a rebellious province of the glorious mongolian empire.
