I literally just want to live in isolation and read and watch YouTube but to do that I need to talk to way too many people, I'm not smart enough to get any decent solitary job and I would have to talk to education people. I just can't do it. Every interaction is awkward and painful, I hate all other people deep down and it comes out in stupid autistic bullshit. Its like I'm predestined for a life of crime or a quick hobo life full of filth and disease. I can't even focus enough to self learn something like coding. I have no discipling for in enjoyable things. I slipped through the cracks. What's the minimum amount of money needed to make money? There's likely something literally medically wrong with my retard brain but I can't get anyone to look into it where I live without spending a bunch of money I don't have. I really need so foolproof miracle algorithm or niche.

Same. I just want to sit on my computer and tinker with my hobbies. I used to have a comfy remote programming job but I quit because I ended up hating it. I hated the daily meetings, dealing with stupid clients that didn't know what they wanted, working on projects I didn't want to work on, often times pretending to work was more fatiguing and anxiety inducing than actually having tasks to work on. The money was alright, but I quickly realized I didn't need much of it and just saved it up, splurged mostly on food and the occasional tech gadget. Now I'm living off of savings and I'm dreading when it runs out and I have to force myself to enter wagecvck mode again and get scrutinized in interviews just to get a chance to be someone's slave.

beep boop beep Yes fellow humans, agreed on this tintillating experience called life. Best just to lay down , never act and wait for death that awaits us all. By the way, did you know that drugs and masturbation increase the pleasure of life?

>>39152 I don't have savings so I can't but couldn't you do investing? Your situation seems different cause you are smart enough to code and get money, so you could do dividends or something.

It's probably going to be sort of alright Lain. Accept that entrylevel job are soycaf. Load boxes in trucks at a warehouse or distro center or janitorial jobs are worth considering. You can keep an earbud in and listen to audiobooks and podcasts. Books on lunch break. No experience or socialization required for those sorts of gigs and they pay enough for food and rent. Your advantage is that your hobbies mostly just cost time. Do not work more hours than you must and fully enjoy your time off. Also- Do not be too hard on yourself. You failed at coding because it isn't interesting to you not because you are unintelligent. I mean- you might be but maybe so am I. It is not as important as finding metal stability and happiness in your day-to-day. Keep trying to find a skill you care enough about to grow proficient in over time. Maybe it will turn into a job or maybe not. For now just get working somewhere and figure out how not to hate it.

>What's the minimum amount of money needed to make money? There's sites that collects data on the cost of living. You can get an idea of the avg I guess. On "Numbeo", they say A single person estimated monthly costs are 1,196.6$ without rent.

>>39212 Double posting to mention that this is for a person in the US. I forgot to include it in my post. My bad!

>>39149 You need more spirituality in your life like most lains you are very mind-centered Look up "The power of now" - Eckart tolle The mind loves to solve problems , even where there are none , be mindfull all the time and your suffering will stop <Remember pain is unavoidable suffering is not... All the people here are high IQ problem-solving types (cybersec, programming, art) the mind can tire you out make things harder than they appear to be. I strongly urge you to aquire some kind of spiritual habit e.x prayer meditation fasting abstinence The mind is a tool , like a hammer You must let go of the tool when you are done , you can't eat with a hammers in your hands !

>>39212 i have not paid rent in 6 months through a lucky break, and i can confirm my monthly cost is not more than $400 a month, likely no more than $300 if i stopped buying organic fairtrade foodstuffs. what is that taking into account, and am i doing something fundamentally wrong?

One time when I was being admitted to a state mental hospital, the doctor asked me what I thought was a very strange question: "Have you ever taken a vow of poverty?" After I was in the hospital for a while, I overheard a guy talking about being a Buddhist monk. Then the weird question made sense to me. Buddhist monks take a vow of poverty. I'm guessing that they get themselves admitted to mental hospitals so they can start receiving governement disability benefits. It must happen so often that the "vow of poverty" question is used in an attempt to weed them out during the admissions process. If it works for some of them, it might work for you, too. You would only receive a bare minimum of income, only enough to scrape by with rent and food. But that's all some people want, as long as they're otherwise free to do as they like.

I'm in the same boat OP, but I'm probably older. 30. It's so over for me, I don't even want to do anything anymore. Working bullshit 'entry' level jobs my whole life. Living paycheck to paycheck. Verifiably retarded. Antipsychotic meds (even though I've never been psychotic, just chronically depressed) are probably shrinking my brain. Behind in rent. Car troubles. Not enough shifts at work. Job interviews that go nowhere. No money. fam it is felt.
Hong, Guil Dong · 2025-02-20 06:53
>>44209 Why would you take antipsychtics for depression? Common depression medications like fluoxetine (Prozac) and many others are not antipsychotics.
