Every year I see the leaves change colors and fall from the tree, it's always a personal shock. Today as I was walking off campus I saw the quaking aspens were already yellow and it hit me like a train. it's autumn already. Just yesterday those trees were budding and now they are shedding their leaves in preperation to hibernate for the coming days. Fall is such a beautiful season to me, its a shame it never lasts for long.(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST, You should always elaborate on your opinions rather than just spilling the soykaf.)

Why was there a warning for this? I guess it fits more as a comment rather than a thread.

Very pretty, OP. I love aspens.

>>42012 Genuinely no idea what mods want at this point. They seem to slap it on every second post. Either way, existential dread general and watching the passing of time where symbolic moments like the yellowing of trees remind us of another round passing where we ask ourselves, what have we achieved this time and how many opportunities will we have in the future? That said I do not have intentions to make anyone depressed but I do too find enjoyment in this bittersweet melancholy of knowing I don't got forever. Memento mori.

>>42014 This seems of a risk-taking thing but this imageboard's mod team are great, mirroring how people SHOULD manage in today's modern society. Always elaborating on your opinions in good faith, for example? I used Google Search for it, you can see for yourself why society and us are in complete balance. >>42012 >>42013 Mine too, and thoughtful comments like this are warming. I love trees because of how they help nature and give shade in the summer months but picture this: Society branches out in many different aspects, like that of trees. Symbolic moments like these happen every year, which is amazing as nature itself.

Deciduous forests grow only in certain parts of this planet. IMO they are the best places to live. Trees changing color in the fall are symbolic if this. That's why I love to see it.

I completely forgot that this thread existed. The trees are still beautiful, I dropped out of college this year but pass by the campus every day to work and it still blows me away. Long live Autumn
