Let's share some RSS feeds we use. Here are some i like Entertainment: Youtube (when you click on a channel name, that link serves as an rss feed, for example youtube.com/@achannelnamethisisanexample) https://wearethemutants.com/feed/ http://humaniterations.net/feed.xml Games: https://wccftech.com/feed/ https://rpgcodex.net/rss.xml https://buried-treasure.org/feed/ https://mmos.com/feed https://blog.bioware.com/feed https://www.rpgsite.net/feed Technology: https://www.rtings.com/reviews-rss.xml https://www.tomshardware.com/feeds/all https://www.anandtech.com/rss/ https://www.phoronix.com/rss.php https://slack.engineering/feed https://hackaday.com/blog/feed/ https://fasterthanli.me/index.xml

>https://lobste.rs/rss hn clone >https://projecteuler.net/rss2_euler.xml pretty cool programming challenges >https://wikenigma.org.uk/feed.php great stuff, encyclopedia of what we don't know >https://morss.it/https://www.anarchistfederation.net/rss/ anarchists news, i use morss.it to not get just a summary >https://github.com/neovim/neovim/commits/master/runtime/doc/news.txt.atom isn't it neat how, as much as i hate github, you can turn any file on github into a rss feed? >https://lwn.net/headlines/rss Linux "Weekly" News, not really weekly but good >https://lainchan.org/$board/index.rss you can do that even if it's somewhat limited I also have a bunch of youtube channels through invidious.

>>38566 Is there any benefit in using an Invidious RSS feed if you’re watching content through yt-dlp + mpv?

A couple game-dev related sites I stumbled upon recently: https://www.parallelrealities.co.uk/rss.xml : a bunch of tutorials for SDL. Some tutorials relate more to algorithms than to the interface though. https://simblob.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default : a blog about game dev stuff. The articles are pretty varied, from map generation algorithms to library tests. The blog only goes back to march, but there are many more articles on the site. >>40974 Most likely because invidious actually presents the RSS link. I wonder why youtube keeps the RSS feature btw, since it isn't normally accessible. >>37626 >Youtube (when you click on a channel name, that link serves as an rss feed Does it? My RSS client certainly doesn't understand that. I have to either look for the rss url in the source or generate it myself. Btw, the url format for the rss feed is https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=<channel_id> where <channel_id> is a b64 string that isn't used in the youtube ui anymore (but invidious still use it, and linking to https://www.youtube.com/channel/<channel_id> still works)

>>40976 >>Youtube (when you click on a channel name, that link serves as an rss feed Unless there's a reader out there that automatically searches for channel ids that wouldn't work. It seems like an extremely niche feature. The RSS is still present in a channels source page, search for "XML" and you'll find it after a few queries. I assume it's more work to remove it than it is to ignore that the feature exists.

My RSS reader is lacking. Most of my entries are either recent attempts at finding blogs or YouTube channels from highschool.
