Amish Girlfriend

Recently, I moved near Amish people. I see them all the time but have not yet had the confidence to talk to them. How should I go about getting an Amish girlfriend?

I used to live in a heavy Amish/Mennonite area, and the Mennonites were pretentious fuarrrks who drove lifted trucks and were basically white trash with good morals. The Amish tend to be overall more decent people by at least adhering to tradition, but basically unless you're looking for a tradwife (not necessarily a good thing) or want to isolate her from her family, which may go either way, it's not really a good idea to get involved unless you have a lot of contact with the communities themselves. Be respectable and be around them a lot, and you might find a trad qt.Note that they value hard work and humility.

Sigh… what is it with these low quality posts on lainchan recently? If you want an Amish gf, go up to the Amish and talk to them. Just treat them as you would any other group of people jeez. I’m pretty intrigued by the attitude people have towards Amish and other insular religious types. People wrongly assume they are people trying to hold onto a dead past by rejecting modern life. In reality, the Amish and Mennonites were part of a bunch of utopian communistic movements going back to the Reformation. Their founders were trying to build an alternate future and part of that meant rejecting certain things everybody else was blindly embracing. In that sense, their pretty similar to lainchan, an enclave that rejects big tech soykaf that normal people think your backward for rejecting while sticking to old school message board. We fault them for being outside of secular industrial society, we find their religion and sexual attitudes weird, but their probably better off than most of us who are hopelessly brainwashed cogs in the machine.
