I appreciate the lainchan community

Hello everyone. I wanted to say I really like this community. You all are very kind and courteous, something I don't see much more of, irl or on the Wired. This place is a breath of fresh air honestly. A comfortable place. I wanted to know, what other communities do you know are like this? Can be any, even offline. What communities do you guys frequent, other than lainchan?

Heyuri seems pretty friendly in my experience. Danger/u/ also seems fine for the most part but there seems to be more willingness to start fights.

Thank you! I've also settled on here for the nice threads and comfy feel. The whole reason I watched SEL was because of Lainchan, hah! I hang out on Sushichan too. Less activity, I think, but very focused on comfy stuff and anime. I remember there was a thread were they were planning anime watching sessions. (Also, I want to make a Tiny nod to Uboachan, Sushi's distant sister board. First board I started at when started frequenting imageboards. I prefer textboards personally like 4-ch, world2chan and some English boards/threads on 5channel. 4chan gone nothing but trolling these days. Not to mention the number of users gone through the roof. I am not sure about other chans So this place has some of the early 4chan attempt at discovering collective internet wisdom. SEL, GitS and Matrix makes a good theme for a more serious online space.

I've seen posts defending the moral character of females, and using r*ddit terminology. Also, I added someone here on Matrix and they were mean to me.

Since then it only grew. It has become a hotbed for many ideas the people in power judge undesirable. Keep remembering what happened before. Correct the reccord, shareblue. A lot of money was invested to fight extremism on this site. Now, AI allow the same people to create a lot more posts to reduce the signal to noise ration to nothing and to make it an uninteresting place. And it's exactly what is happening. Lurk a bit and tell me how many time you see answers that could be used for anything like "you must be really uneducated to have this opinion". This sort of answers that look like it have been made by a 10 year old chatbot are everywhere.

OP. Thank you for your thread, you read my mind, because i wanted to say something like that. I discovered lainchan literally today, and i'm so fuarrrking great for that, because times are soykafty now and people are just great here.

>>36992 Thanks! To be honest, i'm not new at all, i used to access imageboards and textboards since i was 14. But now i dont do that anymore. But today i rediscovered lainchan. Don't know why i didn't give much attention, maybe now i'm more mature i guess. It is nice to see that people still using chans to be honest.
