Yikes! That scene where that alien pays Lain a visit really freaked me out! And for some reason when she visits that girl dressed as an alien it kind of freaked me out too! Lain dove into extraterrestrials without even being a show about extraterrestrials. It really added to it's interesting atmosphere.

I'm just mostly lurking. I used to enjoy the big chan around 2007-2012-ish. It's refreshing too see an alt-chan that still alive. I don't feel smart or tech savvy enough to actually post stuff though.
