just waiting for the recession to take and fukk everything up
how are you Lainon?
Cypher · 2023-01-28 21:31
Going alright, I guess. Slightly hungover. Disappointed in humanity as per usual. Trying to decide what to do with myself tonight. I need a hug.

I'm doing not very good. I started a job two weeks ago, on week 1 I worked 32.5 hours, on week 2 I worked 35.5 hours, this week I'm schedule for 40 hours!! Its my first job (excluding a 10h per week Job at McDonalds when I was 16).
I hate having a job, and when I come home there is nothing fun to do. I did have a successful conversation with one of my coworkers, though.

*hugs you*

I'd say it's going fine. I would usually say I'm not doing so good but you realize there are always people out there with worse problems than you. Just struggling with this work project and being somewhat of a loner in a new city and my insomnia is getting worse and worse.

>I need a hug.
Me too. A nice long, warm, hug and cup of hot cocoa.

>I hate having a job, and when I come home there is nothing fun to do.
I know how you feel. You just feel too exhausted to do anything. I can barely muster the strength to cook let alone read manga or play games. I've been following a series for a few years and it just recently ended while I'm still volumes behind everyone else.

Kaguya sama wa kokurasetai (I think they changed the name later when it was officially translated).

And i thought i was the only fuarrrker! Hi fellow recession fan! Hope we can survive the nuclear winter once they drop the bombs and then we can start a better society (pic related lol)

Being exhausted is like drinking soykaf. If I can give advice I second >>33965 , when you are at home just do what you like even if you feel like you don't. Apathy is a beast to fight but you can overcome it (struggling myself with it)

I have a deadline tomorrow, but still haven't managed to write anything due to writers block. I feel like I'm fuarrrked.
Joakwin · 2023-01-29 10:02
Im fine, going home from work. From 8 am to 3 pm.
I'm young so its good to get used to this, its quite fun and better than sitting playing video games, studying or occasionally doing exercise.
Life is good no soykaf

That's really nice :DDDDDD

It's going Daijoubu.
Filling blank space now : New ENA media dropped. Was looking forward for it's next installment for quite a while and it's exciting seeing Dream BBQ being close to completion.
I think a few lainons here might enjoy it.

This is something I've come to understand once I was done with my studies. I thought of work being a necessary boring part of life, but actually doing work I enjoy is quite the opposite. Feels great and I often feel bored when I'm not working my job, always working on something instead. No more mindlessly playing games for the sake of entertainment. Now there's always a reason for it :)

Give it a good 5 years and you will be thoroughly worn out by it. Enjoy the novelty while it lasts.
Getting fired and finding the time to focus on myself and my own projects was the best thing that happened for my mental health pretty much ever. Of course this comes at the expense of being homeless in X amount of time, but at this point I'm more or less okay with it, fuarrrk this awful world anyways I want out. But I do have enough money saved to live comfortably for at least a good 5 years.

I'm super worried about being all alone when I finally move out of my soykafhole city. Have a *hug* and a cocoa.

ENA is rad, there's not a lot of media I'm excited for anymore. This one is a breath of fresh air.

i'm stressed about the current situation of the IT jobs(I'm a programmer). Due to depression, I had to be away from programming for about 2 years, and now it's all cold.
