>>33814 It’s just a job working the checkouts at a store near me. Nothing too exciting, but I’m happy to be employed again! :D And yeeeaaah, I was very confused when I saw my warning, even more so since it doesn’t even make sense (elaborate on what opinion?)

Good for you Lain but I hope I never have to work a job again in my entire life. I’d rather be a low income NEET than a low income prole.
John Titor · 2023-09-03 07:36
This pace is getting better in quality, we just need to do something about that automated bluetext that creeps in every other post. Oh yeah, I'm happy for you, oh pee.(ur autom8ted)

Armitage · 2024-05-10 11:23
Good. Next step is to figure out how to become not dependent on one with the funds you acquire from said job. Play the system, my friend!
Bobby Newmark · 2024-05-10 13:55

having a job is not something to celebrate, in the past slaves did not cleberate for their freedom being taken away. you are literally a pet of someone else, and your celebrate because now you can obey them even more: they will give you money so you can obey the BUY command, which is the right there with the strongest commands to teach your human pets, along with VOTE. by posting like that you are spreading a group mentality of the stereotypical normal person which is not surprising given that all public gardens will die when pets come to eat the flowers like some cows. i despise you and everyone who is not rich and degresses to such hideously LOW levels of existence. such creatures have no hope.

>>40700 >Wooo look at me I'm such a dissident wow, anyway where are my welfare checks ?
Drano · 2024-05-12 13:43
>>40704 that previous dude wrote cringe but you also wrong because youth is going welfare intentionally as dissident to jobs not providing a good life. There is a "lying flat" movement. Top jobs are still nice but anyone close to minwage can literally get more from welfare than a job pays so they follow that path. OP choice is still good though because anyone young should tryhard to get into a top job first. Welfare is just a cope play when you failed at having a career.
William Holtzer · 2024-05-12 17:47
>>40706 I don't see what is inherently cringe about his post. While I don't fully agree with it, I immensely respect those who choose to not simply go with the flow. Wageslavery is fundamentally exploitative. The game is fuarrrking rigged. I don't think it's reasonable to expect every young person to tryhard for a top job. Being able to get a top job is often depends on the lot in life you are born with. Some born with a good lot will be able to shoot up to the top far faster due to genetics, wealth, and connections. Not everyone has the capacity to get a top job. However, on the long term, NEEThood is harmful to the individual, and it always has the same outcome, unless you come from a well-off family where you're guaranteed a place to stay. Again, if that's the case, then you already were born with a good lot in life. It's better to seek work, not based on society's idea that you must become "successful" but so you can fund your own interests and your own lifestyle. I don't think it's necessary to be at the top. I think it's alright just to have enough to sustain yourself and have somewhat of a decent quality of life.

>>40710 >I don't see what is inherently cringe about his post condescending preaching lacking awareness people know. Same as old people always going cola is bad. Likewise everyone knows life is unfair rng but so what? Giving up is autolose so gotta try. And on the topic of unfair advantages i think the most important ability right now is being able to stay focused. If you can do that you can beat smarter & richer people stuck in entertainment addiction. Now my own unnecessary old man rant on why everything went to soykaf: While right about the game being rigged the cause is not corps, they are victims too. The creation of fiat printing is what turns everyone steadily poorer. Even if you get a raise equal to inflation you end up losing because higher nominal value puts you in higher tax brackets and excludes you from poor people benefits. The numbers go up but you cant buy more for it and they still tax you like higher numbers mean you got rich = each year people get a little bit poorer and over decades it sums to a lot. In summary: fiat system is a wealth pump draining people steadily at a rate they wont riot against and that's why the youth has by design way worse conditions than their parents. The corporations are in the same boat of making on paper more money and reporting growth but in reality avg growth is just inflation and if corp income remains steady they are factually at a loss. Everyone is getting squeezed and corps cant play nice because they die when they do which leaves only the ruthless behind.
