if elon is a free speech absolutist and cryptocurrency advocate like he says, why doesnt he decentralize twitter? its almost as if elon has been going out of his way to make crypto into a meme to delegitimize the actually useful aspects of it. now why would he, someone in the WEFs back pocket who has repeatedly endorsed apple with neuralink marketing by explicitly saying it will work with your iphone every time its mentioned, do that?

Because he is a liar, cheat, scammer, idiot puppet like bill gates and all the other "tech geniuses" and companies who bring "progress". He is in bed with those globalist mafiosis and gets rewarded well for putting their agenda forward.

Wait until he pushes verification for everybody, introduce electronic payments, uses your data for developing AI and brain implants, and ultimately turns the platform into the west's WeChat. He didn't buy Twitter. He bought Twitter's users.

>>32711 how does it not? privacy is a very important part of security

>>32713 You're not discussing privacy. You're discussing twitter, with privacy hiding somewhere in the backdrop, but it's not particularly related and you will not be getting many responses about the privacy aspect of things except for "privacy was never safe on Twitter" and such. That's how. Although, that specific post was meant to explain why I moved it to /r/ rather than start a discussion about the thread itself.

>>32714 fair enough. i just dont see how its any different from the usual bitching about google

twitter is a big machine, a new careful captain will not just start driving it harshly before he's had time to figure out its nuances. With a change of ownership, its also likely in a precarious place, and the safer path is likely the least active one. If he is to do extremely significant changes, they'll likely take a bit of time to manifest.

CEOs are never the good guys in most /cyber/ stories. My monkey-brain response would to attack him on sight with savage barbarian fury before his sorceries could kill me.
