What do you do with your free time on such long days? I haven’t found much to do myself, maybe I’ll have more luck on wired? What things are best to learn? What things are best to see? What is th right thing to do? Someone has to have the answer, don’t you think?

Do what makes you happy, lainon. I would recommend learning programming if you have some free time. It's great and you can make cool things with it.
You can create audio synthesizer, experiment with Perlin noise, fractals and other cool graphics projects. You can implement algorithms, write parsers. You can automate your daily tasks.
As for what things to see on the wired, I am yet to find it out myself.
Good luck

I am weaning myself off of wasting it refreshing social media sites in hopes of new content to consume and spending it instead on books and learning.

Spend some time reading into each one. Maybe you'll find something that catches your fancy.

For someone in your position, that doesn't know what they want to do, situationally, the best things for you to learn are the skills that are generally useful.
Training your body so that it's strong.
Developing literacy so you can read and write well.
Practising memorisation techniques so you can effectively memorise a bunch of verbally given instructions or lines of text.
Hygiene and Self-Care skills.
House chore skills.
These sorts of things.
